So a few days ago, I was traveling with my grandmother and mom, and we were on our way back home across a bay on a ferry, and I looked up into the sky and saw the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen. It looked like someone had painted it across the sky, using the perfect shades of white and orange. The sun was sinking between two islands, and the clouds had been painted on the left to look like the ripples in the surface of the water, but on the other side, there was something even more magnificent. A phoenix and it's chick was waking. The younger of the two was diving toward the pool of molten honey, its mother following close behind and stretching her wings out to protect her young one from the winds that pushed them forward. It was like they were diving into another world, and I desperately wanted to follow.
