Imagine being a pirate, sailing the high seas with a crew at your command. The most feared pirate in the whole sea, known for pillaging and plundering any city along the coast, and even moving inland where the rivers were deep enough for your ship. You're searching for a fabled treasure said to be buried at the cliffs of serpents, a deadly pass known for rock falls and the poisonous snakes that inhabit every nook and cranny. You've taken many treasures like this, but none quite as important. This was said to be the jewels of darkness and with them in your command you could turn day to night in an instant and back again, turning the sun and moon to your own personal clock.
