Why do people judge others

We don't like it when it happens to us

And yet we always seem to do it to others

It's like a vice around my neck

And a filter around my mouth

I can't say certain things

I shouldn't act a certain way

Too loud

Too brash

Too sarcastic

People don't even have to open their mouths

Their condescending looks tell me everything I need to know

They're imprinted in my mind

Every annoyed look that anyone has given me remains in my mind

When did we decide that we were qualified to judge others

I'll admit I'm guilty of doing it

Try as hard as I can

I still judge others

When did this become a normal part of society

We are far from perfect

So why do we feel entitled to tell others what they're doing wrong
