I don't know about you but I'm ready for autumn

I'm ready to walk down the streets with my headphones on

Dressed in a long trench coat

Listening to calming music

And twirling on the sidewalk as I walk through the city

I'm ready to see the red and orange that comes with the season

I'm ready for days spent with a mug of hot chocolate

And those rainy days where you can do nothing but listen to the rain and still be content

Those times when you can cuddle up with a fluffy blanket

A book in one hand

A warm drink in the other

And a fire at your feet which are covered by fluffy bunny slippers

The crisp feeling to the air

And the warm feeling you get when you eat a bite of fresh pumpkin pie

Or the sweet taste of caramel slipping down your chin as you bite into a caramel apple

The quiet serenity of the season

I'm waiting for you autumn
