DREAMS PERSPECTIVE:
"Dude, you good?" Sapnap asks, walking into my room. I hadn't gotten out of bed all day. Or the day before. Or the day before that.
"Yeah. I'm okay," I say.
Sapnap sits down on the side of my bed.
"You can talk to me you know," he says calmly.
Patches walks through the door and onto the bed. She brushes up, warmly, against Sapnap before waddling over to me.
"I know."
