There was a knock at the door, and from underneath our blanket fort Tamaki and I exchanged a look. We'd been cuddling under there for a couple hours watching videos on his phone in between stealing kisses. I wasn't expecting any visitors, and the doorman downstairs wouldn't have let just anyone come up to my floor.
"Should I get it?" I asked him, but Tamaki's arms only tightened around me, letting me know exactly how he felt about me getting up right now.
"I don't want to move," he said. "And I don't want you to move either." His hand softly touching my face, Tamaki leaned down and gently pressed his lips to mine, lingering there for a second before pulling away. "Could I convince you to stay?"
"Probably."
His lips dotted kisses down my cheek onto my neck before he pulled my shirt aside and began trailing the kisses down my shoulder.
"Are you trying to tease me?" I asked suspiciously.
"Probably."
"Because that won't work, you know."
They knocked again and his kiss connected with a particularly sensitive spot, a small groan escaping my lips.
"Okay, it might work," I admitted.
"Will one of you idiots answer the damn door?" Katsuki yelled from the kitchen. "I'm busy in here!"
"Well, I'm busy, too!" I shouted back, my voice muffled by the blankets covering us.
"I could get the door?" Tamaki suggested.
"Nah, I got it." Reluctantly I untangled myself and headed to the door.
I looked through the peep hole and then opened the door. Shoto didn't even wait to be invited before walking in, immediately grabbing my face and kissing me.
"Hey," I finally said when he pulled back. "That was great, but... you know it's Tuesday. Right?"
"No. It's Monday. It's my day."
"No, it's Tuesday. Yesterday was a holiday, so today is Tuesday. Tamaki Tuesdays," I said, stepping aside so he could see Tamaki's face peeking out from the blankets on my couch. I saw a hand come up from under the thick comforter and wave at Shoto.
"Oh." His face fell. "So that means... I missed my day."
"I would have called you, but I know you're really busy lately. I didn't want to bother you."
"I've been working so much," Shoto said quietly. "I guess I didn't even realize what day it was."
"Hey," I said when I realized how sad he looked. "It's okay. Come here." I slipped my arms around him, forcing him to hug me, but I didn't have to force too hard because soon I felt him nuzzling his face into my hair and pulling me tighter against him.
"You two! It's not fucking Monday!"
I started to back up when I heard the shouting, but Shoto didn't let go.
"Bakugo. I had the wrong day. Sorry."
"Are you stupid or something? Yesterday was a holiday. Today is Tuesday."
"So I've been told."
"Don't just stand in the doorway hugging her then. Get your ass in here and at least do something useful for once."
"I think that's his way of asking for help with getting dinner ready, Shoto. Come on in."
Shoto reluctantly let me go and wandered into the kitchen to help Katsuki while I rejoined Tamaki on the couch. Immediately he pulled me back into the mess of blankets, wrapping me in them and covering us both up.
"He scares me," Tamaki whispered.
"Which one?"
"Both."
---------------
A little while later I walked into the kitchen behind Katsuki and snatched a piece of the pepper he was cutting, popping it into my mouth.
"Stop it, thief," he scolded as he chopped. "Is that asshole spending the night this week, too?"
"Which asshole do you mean?"
"That one out there," he said, pointing a knife in the direction of the couch. "As for this one," he said, the knife now pointing at Shoto, "I don't care what he does as long as he doesn't take my pillow like he did last time."
"Are you talking about my boobs?"
"Yes."
Shoto looked confused. "She has two boobs, Bakugo."
"No shit, and I want both of them."
"Y/n," Shoto said simply, "do you think you can find another place for my head tonight?"
"Um. I... uh... Shoto... Is that a trick question?"
"No."
"Because... I mean....."
"And what about him out there?" Katsuki asked again.
Shoto and Katsuki both stopped what they were doing to watch me and wait for my answer.
I glanced over my shoulder at Tamaki who sank further into the pile of blankets on the couch.
"I have a feeling he isn't going to stay. But come on, cut him a little slack. He's still nervous about this whole arrangement."
"What's there to be nervous about?" Katsuki asked as he slammed the knife into the cutting board repeatedly, making Shoto and I flinch. "I'm not fucking nervous."
"Yeah, but you and I live together. It's different with the two of us."
"Damn right it is."
There was another knock on the door.
"For fucks sake," Katsuki groaned. "What good is a doorman anymore? We bought this place because of the security, but apparently no one cares about that anymore. And just so you know, I'm not making more food just because more randoms keep showing up here."
Shoto was already answering the door, but he'd hardly opened it before Kirishima and Midoriya came barging in, their loud voices filling the room as soon as they walked in.
"You've got to be fucking kidding me." Katsuki shook his head and went back to the kitchen.
"Hey, Amajiki!" Deku chirped as he passed the couch.
"Whoa," Kirishima said, stopping to inspect the couch. "I didn't even see him there. I thought that looked like a comfy pile of blankets and I was about to jump into them."
The pile of blankets shrank back.
"Tamaki Tuesdays," I explained.
"Tamaki Tuesdays," Deku nodded. "Then why is Todoroki here?"
"I thought it was Monday," Shoto explained.
"Yesterday was a holiday," Deku said to him. "Today is Tuesday."
"Yes. I have been informed."
"So now it's Todoroki Tuesday?" Midoriya suggested.
"No," the pile of blankets said quietly.
"Anyway," I interrupted. "What's up, guys?"
"Right now, you!" Kirishima said, picking me up in a big hug and squeezing. "You smell delicious."
"You're probably smelling the food in the kitchen," I told him. "For some reason Katsuki felt the sudden need to prove that he makes the best takoyaki so..."
"Sounds about right. We knew you were going out of town for a couple weeks," Kirishima said, "so we decided we would stop by and surprise you."
"That's so sweet of you, Kiri. You... um... you can put me down now."
"I don't want to."
"So... we're just going to stay like this?"
"Pretty much. If I squeeze you, will I get to hear that cute giggle of yours?"
"If you squeeze me too hard, you'll get to hear my bones breaking."
"Are you saying I could break your back?"
"Uh... what are we talking about right now?"
Kirishima laughed and finally put me down, heading into the kitchen with Midoriya. I lifted up the blankets on the couch and peered in.
"You okay in there?"
"I think I might go. With all of them here... it might be a little too much for me."
"They're all in the kitchen," I considered. "Want to make out before you go?"
"Absolutely."
------------------------
After dinner all of us - except Tamaki who had gone home - sat around the table sipping coffee and reminiscing about our time at UA.
"Since you became a millionaire - " Midoriya began.
"Billionaire," I corrected him with a smile.
"Oh! Right! Sorry! Since the healing drug went to market, we hardly see you guys."
"I know," I frowned, swirling my coffee with a spoon. "I had no idea this would be so much work. We're coming out with some new products soon, and it's a lot more involved than I thought it would be. It's a good thing I have good help," I smiled, patting Katsuki on the leg.
"I bought some of the powder version for after my workouts," said Kirishima. "It's awesome."
"I would have given you that for free! You should have asked!"
"Nah, I wasn't going to bug you for free stuff. I know you're busy. Now that you're all rich and famous, everyone misses you patrolling with us," Kiri said to Bakugo.
"I'm not rich or famous. It's all hers."
"Ours," I corrected him.
"Whatever. And no, no, they don't.".
"Well, we miss you," Midoriya said. "Right, Todoroki?"
"No."
"I keep telling him to go back to work," I told them. "It's not me that's keeping him here."
"Listen, you, I am working. Managing you is fucking full time job. I don't have time to do anything else while I'm taking care of all of your shit."
"I could hire an assistant."
"I'll do it!" Midoriya interjected.
"No. No one else is going anywhere near her finances. Besides," he said, his eyes avoiding mine, "this is where I want to be. Nowhere else."
Under the table, my hand found his and he squeezed, not letting it go.
"Without me," he continued, "she'd spend all of those millions on stupid shit."
"Billions," I corrected him.
"Whatever. People come yapping to her every day telling her their dumb sob stories and she practically throws money at them."
"... and the problem with that is....?" I asked. "We should be throwing more money at people's problems. We don't need it so we might as well give it to people who do."
"Can you hire me to throw money?" Midoriya asked. "I'm really good at it. Well, dollar bills at least. Or so I've been told."
"Who tells you that?" I asked him.
Midoriya's freckled cheeks blushed. "Hawks."
"Anyway, what new projects are you working on, y/n?" Kirishima asked.
"Well," I said, my eyes lighting up with the prospect of getting to talk about my favorite topic. "The most exciting one is that we're building new homes for kids without families."
"Kids like you," Midoriya said, making everyone stop and stare at him. "What? It's the truth."
"No, you're right. It is. This is for kids like me. Like I used to be. Maybe they won't fall into similar situations as me if they have a more stable life. Anyway, it's awesome. Let me tell you -"
"Here we go..." Katsuki muttered. I understood; he'd heard me talk about this more than anyone else.
"In addition to the houses, I'm building a couple schools that will have the top of the line technology, all the best stuff. And I'm building a park and a playground and dorms, sort of like what we had at UA, but nicer. It will be like a whole community. I can't wait for you to see it!"
I couldn't help but talk louder and louder the more I shared about this project. It was so important to me, and I was thrilled to be able to do this for kids, kids like me. It wasn't much, and I wanted to do more, but it was a good start.
"I'm paying for everything – their school, their food, their college plans. I don't want them to have to worry about anything other than school. Shoto has been helping me organize mental health support and quirk counseling for the kids, something I needed and never had access to growing up. I'm super excited about it, and I've hired the absolute best teacher to run the whole thing."
"All Might?" Midoriya asked.
"Uh, no."
"Now that you've got her talking about this," Katsuki said, "she's never going to shut up about it. It's all she talks about."
"Which is why I need a vacation. And you're going to go back to working with these guys while I'm gone."
"What? No, I'm not. You expect me to go back to hero work while you're on a relaxing vacation?"
"That's exactly what I expect you to do. I told you that you could come, but you don't even like vacations."
"Yeah, because they're a waste of time."
"See? All I'm saying is that you're certainly not going to mope around here while I'm gone."
"There aren't even any good villains to fight anymore," he grumbled.
"You're so right, Bakugo," Midoriya nodded. "The League has been quiet lately, hasn't it?"
"Yes, they have," Katsuki said, his red eyes staring right at me.
"What? Maybe some brilliant person realized that it's amazing what throwing a little money at a problem can do, huh?" I smirked. "I know I wouldn't care about world domination anymore if I had more money than I knew what to do with."
"And where exactly would the League have gotten a bunch of money from recently, hm?"
I shrugged my shoulders, stirring my coffee innocently. "I have no idea."
