I shut my car door and locked it as I speed-walked up to the house. I spent like an hour running around the school and I couldn't find anyone.
And these heels are killing my feet.
"Hello?!" I yelled throughout the house as I quickly dropped my car keys and looked around. Jennifer glitched out of thin air and gave me a confused look as Lucas appeared next to her, shirtless. "What's up hot stuff?" Lucas smirked as he crossed his arms and Jennifer rolled her eyes.
"You guys are the only ones here?" I asked frantically as I walked into the kitchen and then walked out again. "Uh Alex and Cynthia went out but it's just us," Jenn said with a cautious voice as I paced.
"Okay girl, stop." Lucas said and my feet were restricted from moving. I gave him a weird look and he sighed. "Talk to us baby, what's going on?" He asked slowly.
"Weird nickname, but okay." I said slowly with a smile and his eyes raked over me. I know Lucas hits on me for fun.
If only we became friends sooner...
"You know how Kat's transition was eventually going to end?" I said and they both nodded. "It didn't really end, It sort of reached its breaking point-" I explained as Alex walked into the house, followed by Cynthia.
"Well that sounds bad," Alex commented as he tugged his jacket off and I raised my eyebrow and he tapped his ear and I was still confused. "Oh, he heard you from outside. Extensive hearing," Jennifer informed me and I nodded my head slowly.
"Sooo, breaking point?" Lucas asked and I directed my attention to him. "I think Skylar and Natalie fell through a black hole. Actually I don't think, I know since I saw it happen and stuff-" I swallowed and the room fell silent.
"What?"Cynthia cut in as she asked. "They fell down a hole?" Alex asked sarcastically and I sighed. "Can I move please?" I whined as I gestured to my feet. "Your pacing is irritating. You can sit," Lucas said as he pointed to the couch and I complied as he freed my legs and I slumped onto the couch. I immediately sat up and Alex groaned loudly as he sat on the sofa.
"You know what you are?" Alex asked, with a strange British accent, as he pointed towards me with his can of energy drink. "Yes, I am of British descent, so you can stop looking at me as if I'm on crack," He added and I raised my eyebrow.
He threw back the rest of it and scrunched the can until it was a little ball and he threw it behind him.
"You're really tense all the time and it's very exhausting to watch," He drawled. "You don't care that your girlfriend vanished off the face of the earth-"
"She's not my girlfriend."
"What?"
"A girlfriend is a human thing. We're Originals."
"And?" I questioned with my arms folded.
"We simply pass through time so technically, it's like we're not even breathing" He explained as he waved his drink around and I looked towards Cynthia and she shook her head. "He doesn't know what he's talking about," She assured me.
"So what is she?" I asked.
"Well I know she's not my girlfriend," Alex shrugged as he held out his hand and a can appeared out of nowhere and he opened it and took a swig. "How does he-" I asked as I looked at Cynthia.
"It's very complicated the things we can do, sometimes it's best not to question it," Jennifer said as she waved it off.
"Wait no one's said anything sarcastic. Where's Natalie?" Lucas asked out of nowhere and I rubbed my face with both hands in frustration. "So she's not in the house?" I asked and Jennifer and Lucas looked at each other before shrugging.
"Trey hasn't appeared and tried to tell us what to do to impress his little human girlfriend," Alex commented as his legs swung off the side of the couch as I stood up and stopped as I realised what he said.
"I'm right here," I interjected and his eyes bored into mine in a creepy way. "I know darling. I can see you," He mocked.
"I would comment on how unbelievably slow you guys are, but then again your attention spans are shorter than the length the mayor's daughter lasted a virgin." I muttered as I pushed my hair away from my shoulder and walked confidently towards the staircase.
"Damn," Lucas commented as I opened the door to Katalina's room.
Empty.
I searched basically the whole house before giving up and heading back to Mission Control. "What's up lil red?" He asked and I looked at my hair.
"I'm a brunette" I said slowly.
"You'd look better with red."
"What is it, Lucas?" I asked with an exasperated sigh as I pulled off both my heels and walked barefoot towards my hologram table. He watched as I swiftly enlarged and decreased files as I scanned aimlessly through the system's data.
"We don't know where they went but you won't find them in those files,"
I sighed deeply as I twirled my finger and the hologram table turned off itself. "You never come in here," Lucas commented and I crossed my arms as I slumped on my chair. "Desperate times call for desperate measures." I muttered.
We added a meeting area with six chairs and a circular table. We never use it.
"Here's an idea. Let's check tapes," He suggested as he indirectly asked for permission to approach the computer and I gestured for him to go ahead. He pulled up the tapes as I massaged my temple.
My friends and my boyfriend are gone.
It's fine. I'm okay.
"Okay so here's what happened," Lucas said and I closed my eyes and reopened them as my eyes turned green. "You can play the video I can see it from here," I said as I focused my attention on the computer screen through my eyes.
I was just too lazy to get up.
I fiddled with the pen in my hand as the tape played and my mouth hung open slightly as I watched the floor reopened and Natalie and Trey disappeared.
"At least we know where they went now," Lucas said awkwardly as the green in my eyes diminished and I got up from my seat. "Well that means we can assume that..." I began as I sighed deeply.
"That your friends was swallowed by the black hole too," Lucas finished for me.
This can't be happening right? This is all a dream," I repeated numerously as I tugged on my hair. "They probably landed somewhere in town. They'll show up soon," Lucas assured but I shook my head. "No, no they're gone," I mumbled as I tried to stay calm.
My parents haven't spoken to me since The Inhumans became public. I was always their little exploitation doll and now that everyone knows, I'm not really of use to them, so they don't come to Wervieme anymore. I have assets and access to bank accounts to take care of myself but that's pretty much it.
My team were my family. They're gone too.
"I-I have no one," I mumbled and paused as I let it sink in. For the first time, I am truly alone. "No, you have us," Lucas tried to comfort me but I moved away from him.
"We have nothing to do for eternity so we can stay as long as you need us around," He said in a calm voice.
"No, I need you all to leave."

"Do you hear that?" I said to Alex as a bottle of vodka appeared in his hand and I rolled my eyes. "Stop that," I hissed as I moved the bottle out of his hand and it travelled across the couch and landed in my palm.
He smirked as a new one appeared and he took a large swig. "I'll be in the kitchen," Cynthia said as she smirked at both of us before leaving.
I opened my mouth to protest but she was already gone.
"You cannot be drunk right now when her entire team disappeared. She is alone, and our people are gone too," I hissed as I marched towards him. "Yeah, Jenn I realised that. Sky isn't here to give me a blowjob," He drawled as he gave me a lazy look and I crossed my arms.
"When are you gonna tell her what you told me? After we-" I began but he shot out of his seat and in a swift motion I was against the wall and his hand covered mine.
I hate that I never got super speed.
"You do not utter a word. I know what you're gonna say and frankly, I'm too drunk to hear it right now," He said in a low voice and I moved his hand from my mouth. "We're gonna be around each other for eternity-"
"No we're not. Originals can die too," He shot back and I sighed.
The first Inhuman team, our team, was made of ten. The other three died centuries ago. After a while, the number of Inhumans in each generation lessened.
"I know that," I said calmly and he didn't answer as he looked at me. His eyes flashed white as he leaned towards me and his eyes glanced to my lips.
I know he loves Skylar. When he's drunk, he tends to see stuff that...isn't there.
"Oh no, not today," I muttered as I glitched out of his grasp and he turned around and gave me a confused look as I stood behind him.
I walked towards Mission Control and he was behind me as we walked in. "I need you all to leave," Athena said as she sat down in her chair and I sighed. "What's going on?" I asked softly as I walked towards Lucas and he stopped me and shook his head.
"Please leave," She mumbled as her chest quickly rose and fell. "So your boyfriend left. Wherever he is, he's probably fucking Natalie and we all know those two had fun. Well we don't all know cause you weren't alive," Alex drawled and he laughed at his own comment and gestured to Athena in his last sentence.
My eyes widened as I gave him a death glare but he ignored me. "They were louder than Skylar and me and it's so funny that he hasn't pressured you into doing it yet. Trey is like the biggest sex whore ever-"
Alex's body jerked forwards and he collapsed onto the floor. My eyes widened as Athena was standing with her hands on either side of her body. Her green eyes diminished and turned to normal as I stared at Alex's body on the floor.
"What did you do?" Lucas asked as I looked back at her. She didn't answer as she picked up her heels and walked towards him. She momentarily looked down at him before she continued walking.
"Get out of my house!" She yelled as her footsteps headed upstairs.
"How did he-" Lucas muttered and I was still in shock. "Granted he deserved it but..." I mumbled as we both stood in silence. I walked towards his body and lightly kicked his torso as he remained motionless. "She's strong. Knocked him clean out," I commented as Lucas crossed his arms.
"He could've taken that hit. He was just too drunk to focus," Lucas chuckled and I nodded. "He'll wake up eventually," I said as I walked out of Mission Control and Lucas sped up to me and we walked side by side.
"What's going on?" Cynthia asked as she reappeared. "Alex is in Mission Control. You can handle him right?" I asked and she rolled her eyes. "He's annoying when he's drunk," She grumbled.
"Well lucky for you, Athena knocked him unconscious," I said in a sarcastic tone and she didn't seem excited as she stalked off in that direction.
"We're not leaving her alone here right?" Lucas asked and I scoffed as we both stopped walking. "Hell no," I answered as we grabbed our shoes and keys and left the house.
"Did she move when she did that?" I asked randomly as we walked to the car and Lucas unlocked it. "No, he fell on his own," Lucas said slowly as it dawned on him.
"I guess it makes sense, since she's you know.."
"Spirit of energy?" I asked to confirm and he nodded.
"Do you think they know that their team is that important?" I questioned as I held the car door open as Lucas walked to the other side.
The night we all encountered The Restorer, there were colours; Red, Orange, Green, Blue, Turquoise, Purple, Grey, and White. But we were never given colours, it was always white. This Inhuman team is the first to have coloured abilities, and not just any colours, the ones from The Restorer itself.
"I doubt it. They think the colours are just cool accessories. Inhumans aren't meant to have coloured eyes and energy," Lucas explained and I scoffed.
"I know that. I'm saying do they know that the colours represent a spirit?" I asked him and he shook his head. "The psychic one probably does but he's not allowed to say stuff remember?" He asked as I shut the car door and moved to put on my seatbelt.
"Right. Not until The Restorer grants him access to." I finished and Lucas nodded before reversing out of the driving lot.
