(Log 124)

[We are closing in on the Shroud Walls in 15 minutes mother.] Cleo informed as Rosaline stood outside the ship, looking at the horizon before her as she watched with anxiety... upon seeing the wall of clouds filled with electric storms.

The thunderous roars that echoed from within it's shrouded confines could be heard from miles away... it was the very same barrier that forever trapped mankind within the confine of their land... where they were unable to leave.

The Shroud Wall was a testament to just how much the Fog had taken from mankind, the seas that are all shrouded by this vast clouds, guarded by vast ships of various size produce by the Fog.

Mankind had attempted to try and scout the inner layers of the Shroud Walls but all attempts had always met in failure as their scouts would always ended up dead even when they have used drones.

Nothing worked they were unable to see what was beyond the outer layers where they knew Fog warships lurked at the edges, waiting for any suspecting ship that attempted to enter the Shroud.

since the Fogs was always a mystery and even the vast walls they had used to confine humanity to their lands was also mystery, it's nature... incomprehensible to even comprehend.

Even when they obtained samples of the Shroud Walls, the results were not as useful as they had wanted since they are unable to gain anything useful from it, all they'd found were a bunch of clouds.

Nothing out of the ordinary... from their attempts to study just what made up the Shroud Walls and how it was able to do so much interference with any technology that they'd attempted to use.

The elements that made up shroud walls were unique as they had first noted when they analyzed it... but when taking it away, the results ended up becoming regular clouds with no exotic properties.

It was confusing yet frustrating... for the one's who had tried and attempted to study the nature of the Shroud Walls as every attempts always ended up, failing as the Fog seemingly had built a counter.

Why would anyone be interested in it if the elements that made up the Shroud Walls becomes nothing more but normal clouds made up oxygen, carbon and a few other normal earthly element.

Simple really... the Shroud Wall are able to enact feats that shouldn't have been possible, by all logic and reasons, clouds do not generate shields as humanity had learned when trying to breach the walls.

The Shroud Walls can create shields and even offensively strike back through it's ability to cast compressed beams of lightning or outright manifest a fog ship, converting the walls that blockaded mankind into the same nightmarish Fog.

It was flabbergasting to many as they've never expected the Fogs to have the ability to build ships on a whim when it sense a threat, the memories of a fog ship forming from the fog when they've first tried to blow a section of the Walls.

They would never forget it or much less try another attempt to blow the Shroud Walls, not unless they want one of their lands to be reduced to a crater... like the attempt made by China many years ago.

Even until now, that area where they've launch their Neutron Warhead had been reduced to a 10 mile wide crater, a warning to others who would try to attempt such an act, knowing the risk of being shot back in retaliation by the Fog.

Another factor... why mankind was very afraid of attempting to wage war with the Fog, they held no capabilities against something that could hide and so easily appear at any given moment through the shroud they use to contain mankind.
