"So... the princess managed to convince them to bring only a few soldiers with them?" Takeo questioned as they drove alongside Pina's knight who were inside a strange but nevertheless amazing marvel of technology they'd never seen.

A vehicles summoned by Velber since he knew that being escorted by horses would've taken them longer and would only delay their travel to the capital of the Saderan Empire... which was several kilometers away from the City of Italica.

They left after convincing Pina to simply rode upon their vessel which was easy enough considering they had just signed a treaty that needs to be finalized by her father... to end hostilities between them.

Because really... Pina was aware that the empire would not survive if they didn't sign that treaty... the capabilities that the Celestial Directorate had shown just how weak and primitive their empire is.

A single flick from Velber could've easily wipe out entire kilometers of mountains and seas in a blink, no effort being exerted it was if it's so normal compared to even their empire's... strongest mages.

Of course Pina does not really know that Velber or Sefar destructive capabilities to level entire continents... but she knew that they are powerful... more powerful than any apostle that Pina had ever met.

There's also the realization that they are more than what she had expected... first was there army, beings of inorganic matter and made are up of an unknown kind of metal that she could not identify.

Indestructible and undying beings, each capable of unleashing devastation on an incredible scale that no ordinary mortal or even apostles could match if those rumors which are more than likely true.

Given that she had not seen any Apostle that manage to return from the battlefield after facing againsy the army of the Celestial Directorate that were seperated and spread across their lands.

Each one has the capability that she can only believe in rumors... rumors that is becoming truer as the more she noticed the lack of any surviving Apostles presence... and the increasing witnesses.

It was terrifying to realize that they had provoke an enemy that they couldn't win... an enemy that couldn't overcome, a force with the backing God so great its own soldiers can kill other gods apostle.

And the realization that said beings are so common that they would build up a whole army of soldiers with the strengths to kill apostles is a horrifying revelation... that Pina learned just now.

Thus Pina must ensure that the treaty is fulfilled and end any conflict between them if not... then her nation would lay in ruins against the fury of the foreign gods that the empire had provoke upon invading and attacking their territories.

Whatever the empire did and whatever it was that they had caused... it must be fixed or else the empire as she knows it would be doomed to die and all because of their own pride, arrogance and greed that they draw the ire of a mighty beast.

In doing so, they had brought doom and ruin to the Empire... were if not for the rational minds and patience that their enemies had, their lands would've been torn asunder under their righteous fury.

They were the one who had brought the disaster upon their empire and they are the ones who must appeased it... for the fury of a God is not so easily quenched by merely asking forgiveness... they had slighted the divine and the land it ruled.

Pina can only hope her father would be reasonable and realize that they're situation is precarious and if they aren't careful... then their empire would be lost, destroyed, and forgotten like many others and even those they'd conquered.
