"But I am telling you it was true!"Aether can't help but to listen to what Issei was saying as he felt surprise of what he had heard, no one seemed to remember who Yuma was which was a shock for him since he thought... he was just dreaming.

Apparently it was not, Issei remembered who Yuma was and even he knows that he had been dating with the girl yesterday... until she became a monster and shot Issei, but here he was alive and well... as though he wasn't even injured.

What he was confused was the fact that no one seemed to remember who Yuma is, even Issei friends who looked at Issei weirdly as if he had lost his mind. "Don't be ridiculous, Issei." Motohama scoffed.

"Yeah... if there was really a girl that you had been hanging out, we would have been asking you by now if you have lost your virginity." Matsuda added before laughing at the idea which is ridiculous.

"B-But... yesterday, I..." Aether can't help but frown at that as it prove one thing that he thought wasn't true. "Yesterday wasn't a dream... it had happened didn't it?" He thought which made him worry.

"Why else would no one remember Yuma except me and Issei... it doesn't make any sense for everyone quickly forget her." He added, wondering what exactly happened... after he'd been knocked out.

Guessing that someone saved him, since he did remember that before he lost his consciousness those monsters in human disguise had all been screaming in pain as if they had been attacked by someone.

He just doesnt know who had saved him and Issei as well... wondering why their memories were intact while everyone else, including his sister, Ganyu, Keqing, and Hu Tao had their memories altered.

It was the only logical conclusion Aether could think regarding the situation that he found himself, he was bewildered yet confused as to why he didn't forget what he saw, and who was his strange savior?

A mystery he was unlikely to find out, it brought unease to him, he had imagined that what he thought was a dream wasn't true... unfortunately what he had heard just now had shattered that belief.

Now he is made to worry and fear, since what he had dreamt was true and also means that monsters like Yuma... were out there, walking amongst humanity and attack people who were vulnerable.

Like he and Issei did... Aether wondered who had saved them from being killed... they would have been both died had no one save them... so chances are someone if it wasn't so obvious had save their life.

So while there are dangers now lurking within humanity... there are also those that opposed them, honestly reminding him of those cliche movies and anime that his sister would often love to watch.

He admits that those things have a point that there will always be good that would stand against the wickedness that infest humanity... as ridiculous as those words may sound, they hold some truth.

"Jeeze, Issei is acting like a weirdo could you believe Onii-san? Him getting girlfriend." Lumine snorted finding that notion ridiculous given Issei reputation as a shameless pervert, a reason why he isn't approached by any woman till now.

"Yeah..." Aether murmured not finding it funny considering he did saw Issei get a girlfriend... only to discover that the girl that confessed to her was some sort of monster who was wearing provocative clothes that were straight out of a bdsm.

Aether still shuddered remembering the so little clothes that covered her and he was thankful that the woman still at least had some decency albeit not much it still save him, from seeing that horror.
