"Incredible." Lelei muttered as she looks at the colossal warmachine that was the Cavalier that was stationed just outside of the town, there were a total of four Cavalier being present in the little town.

Accompanied by three hundred of siren that were in formation with only a few wandering around as though acting like a scout that monitored the areas as they looked around while the men in green... which is Itami's group is gathering Intel.

Or rather are trying to... using one of the sirens as some sort of translator given its ability to somehow make everyone understand each other through some sort of 'Universal Language' it possessed.

How and why that's possible Lelei could only guess as to how they're able to perform such incredible feats... one of many things that the outsiders possesses which was... unlike anything Lelei knew.

It was beyond the means of what normal  magic that she knew could do... the feat this strange entity possess just like it's brethren were too great and powerful it was no wonder the empire's army, died.

They had provoked beings equal to that of apostles or even greater if what she heard is true... which was given how the empire was in chaos upon realizing that not even their apostles could save them.

This... Celestial Directorate is not simply a force that anyone could provoke... the empire had been overconfident thinking they could have overcome this new enemy, only to realize that they couldn't.

The empire had drawn the ire of a much greater power... and now such power had come to their world and to seek out retribution for the insult that the empire had committed upon their lands.

In their arrogance... they did not realize their own folly in awakening a beast that would seek to bring ruin upon their lands... no one would be able top them... Lelei doubt that even the gods can help.

Months had passed and the empire is on the brink of collapse with the annihilation of their army and their own vassals who hadn't return since... it was obvious that those people had died.

The apostles had become useless against this new foe... death only await them, no longer could their immortality can save them from death... rather it only proved a point... you cannot escape from death.

Gods and Mortals all will be claimed by death... why would Lelei think of this? She is a mage who learns and adapts to grow and survive... to refuse changed is a folly that would kill others who didn't.

One must ride the tides or be swept by it as she had learned... that tide being the army of the Celestial Directorate and the sky and sea being the instrument that will sweep away all the sins of the world as it had been ordained by the new God.

Call her insane bit Lelei feel as if their is a god much greater and older than even those that she and many others knew... a god that predated creation and one who wields the power to bend all of creation to its whim like some clay being molded.

"How strange... why do I even have these thoughts in me?" Lelei wondered to herself as she continue observing Itami's group and the silent siren that was beside them while talking to their chief.

A soft hum echoed from behind her, she shifted her gaze and witness a siren that was staring down at her. [Lelei La Lelena.] It's voice... it was enrapturing, it drew her heart and mind almost as if to incase her in a prison through it's voice.

"Y-Yes?" Lelei replied after she managed to not fall or be enraptured by the sirens enchanting voice which would have no doubts put her in a trance like state that she would never escape if she did... fortunately the siren didnt seek to do so.
