"So bored." Shino muttered as she leans on the wall having stop trying to beat the living daylights out of Takeo as the said private look like he'd gone through hell as his current state was bruised up.

"How ironic for you to say that..." Takeo muttered under his breath as well as he stood as far as possible from the Femme Fatale that nearly murdered him due to his jingling mouth... it was if luck had forsaken him which made him unlucky.

Or maybe it just because of the timing of those words he said that made him the unfortunate victim of Shino's wrath as she'd gone through enough craziness of the past few days that made her... upset.

And who wouldn't be upset or angry if a person only wanted a few days of peace with no craziness happening? Well they certainly won't experience that kind of luxury as the craziness seem to increase.

Now they all stood on some wall, they've been tasked to guard and ensure that no one and I mean no one would be able to pass or breach the walls which seemed easy, problem is they were on their own.

Itami knew that they were being used as bait by the princess but they had played along in order to gain there trust after hearing the city current issue which was an army it bandits that's besieging them.

The previous skirmish had ended before Itami and his team arrive which made them lucky to not get dragged into the conflict though if they did... well it was not that them that should be so worried.

They were being escorted by an army of Sirens and Cavaliers and had they still been present, the battle would've ended before they would even know it... especially when they face a whole army.

And not just any army... but the Celestial Directorate itself, an Interdimensional civilization who's technology surpassed humanity own by billions or trillions of years due to how insanely advance it is.

No one knows just how advance it was... it was beyond anything humanity had possess... a technology that surpassed all accomplishments they had achieve and able to defy the laws of science casually.

It showed how little mankind was in the face of a civilization like them, humanity is an ant, the only reason they even entertain them is because they are friendly to any civilization regardless of their technological state be equal or not.

So long as they are good and are not bad or hostile to the Celestial Directorate the latter would treat their civilization with the equal respect they deserved but if not? Well... humanity would learn what the consequences is for being very rude.

Friendly they may be, that doesn't mean they will stand by and be insulted or be treated by humanity as if they are a tool to their ascension... the Celestial Directorate was a heavenly sub-branch.

Made to directly command over Luciel's forces when he's not in charged a second chain of command... lead by the brightest and well experienced angels of his legion or by those he uniquely made such as the twin Ishar-Mala and Spectre.

Though young... and in command of this particular branch of the heavenly army, Grani acts as the advisor and their voice of reason should the sibling be unable to make a proper decision, Grani will be the one to make the decision for the two.

Which happened more often than not as the two were still young and Grani being the more experience helped eased whatever issue they face otherwise she'll just ask advice from other Aegises.

Due to their connections to the network that linked all Aegises and allowed for each one to debate and converse with each other sharing real-time experience and information that helped them grow.
