79) 𝔀𝓪𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓶𝓮𝓵𝓸𝓷

-Ariella POV-
I woke up in front of Eddie, his arms lazily slung across my body. He looks so perfect. He's just too good for me! I couldn't help but start to think, maybe he'll be better off with Jess. I mean, they are so much more alike.

He deserves better than all those shitty arguments in the past they we've had. I'm embarrassed about how I reacted towards him. I honestly should've handled it better. I've been such a bitch lately. I'll have to make it up to him, maybe we then move forward? But I don't want to force him to...

" Hey beautiful, " Eddie grumbled sleepily, pulling me closer to him to bury his face in the small spot when my neck and shoulder meet. He hummed as he kissed the side of my neck. "I love you~," he whispered, fuck moving forward. I could stay here with him for the rest of my life and I wouldn't have one complaint.

"Hi Ed." I reached to softly stroke his hair, I turned around to face him. He smiled while rubbing his eyes. He hugged me, and kissed my neck again. " I love you--." He dragged out his words, I hadn't realized that I didn't say it back the first time. He stared up at expectingly. " I love you, too." He dropped his head back down onto my chest, "oh, she loves me!" He said dramatically.

He got up from the bed and took me with him, " What's up? You're quiet this morning." I thought of Jess again, and all those things I did and said to Eddie, I feel guilty. It's not that bad, we only argued like twice. Right? It couldn't be. "Oh, no. I'm okay. I couldn't help but stare at his bare chest, he's so beautiful , all of him.

I then noticed the guitar pic necklace he had on. I took the pic that was hanging of of a thin sliver chain into my hands. It was a red Fender guitar pic.

"Do you like it?" Eddie asked, grabbing my hands in his. I nodded, " Then it's yours." He reached to take it off, " But Eddie it's yours-" he shushed me playfully while shaking his head, " You know how many of these I have? It'll match my rings too." He told me, as he put the necklace around my neck. " Eddie, are you sure?" I asked, he walked over to his nightstand and picked up a small dish, it had a few chains similar to the one he gave me, along with a few guitar picks.

"So what do you want to do today?" Eddie asked, letting his hands fall into my waist. "Anything but watch The Exorcist, that movie is absolutely terrifying!" I exclaimed, " Anyway,  it's whatever you want to do, Eddie." I whispered before kissing his lips. " Let me check In with Steve real quick, then we'll talk," I told Eddie before picking up the phone.

I greeted my brother as I heard his voice ring through the phone, " 'Ella I'm so glad you called!" Oh my god, what did he do now? " Ariel I have a girlfriend!" Steve said, practically shouting into the phone, " Really? Steve that's great!" I said, "I kinda told her she could meet you today. Bring Eddie if you want but I really need you home! I'll see you later! Love you, bye!" He said before the line went silent, " What the hell?" I asked aloud.

I ran into the kitchen to tell Eddie, " Eddie Munson! My brother got a girlfriend!" I shouted, " A 'girlfriend' or a girlfriend?" Eddie asked with air quotes, "A girlfriend!"

" Really?" He asked, looking at me with his eyebrows raised as he opened the microwave and took out a cup of instant macaroni and cheese.

"Yeah, and he wants me to come home to meet her. He seems really excited," I stated,  "You're leaving?" Eddie looked at me with a look of slight disappointment, " No,  we're leaving. You're gonna come with me!"

{about an hour later, Harrington House}
"Does you brother really have a girlfriend? Ariel remember the last time he tried to ask out a girl," Eddie trailed off continuing to indirectly tease about Steve's dating life. "Eddie be nice!" I exclaimed as we walked through the back door.

We walked outside to the pool,  to see Steve and a girl with permed blonde hair making out on the a lawn chair whilst Robin was sitting on the edge of the pool, kicking her legs in the water. "Oh! Ariel you're here! Please save me, I'm so bored!" Robin called to me and walked over, I figured Steve and his girlfriend would stop, but they were still making out. Typical Steve.

" Steve!" I shouted as I walked over to him, Steve pulled away and awkwardly smiled, " Hey Ariel! " Steve shouted back, I rolled my eyes at him before greeting his girlfriend, who revealed that her name was Pamela.

" Steve why the hell is Robin sitting on the edge of the pool bored? " I asked sarcastically, " Ariel go change, are you swimming?" Steve replied, completely avoiding the question, I let go of Eddie's hand and started to make my way back to the door.

I was sitting on the edge of the pool beside Eddie as we were having a conversation with Robin, " I'm gonna grab a drink real fast, do you guys want anything?" Robin asked as stood up from her seat on the diving board. I politely declined as Eddie rested his head on my shoulder. " You look nice." He complimented with a smirk to my bikini and jean shorts.

" Thank you." I told him in a slightly seductive whisper, before I softly kissed his neck. " You don't know what you're getting yourself into, do you?" He whispered back, but our moment was quickly ruined when Steve called for me, I turned around to look at him,

" 'Ella, I love you so much, you're my favorite sister, " Steve started, " Spit it out, Steve. What do you want?"

"You know that watermelon in the fridge, can you cut it up, and bring us some? Pam said she really wants some." Steve said, turning to smile at Pam, "Fine. But it's only because she wants some." I replied as I stood up, " Take Eddie with you." Steve said while leaning in to kiss Pamela. 

Ed stood up beside me and held his hand out, I took it and then started running towards the back door. Eddie followed beside me and made our  way to the kitchen. I took a scrunchie  from the counter and tied my hair up.

I then took the watermelon from the fridge and began to cut it. Eddie took a knife from
The knife block and started to help me cut.

A giggle slipped out as Eddie curse under his breath as the juice from the watermelon dripped all over his hands. He then playfully flicked some of the juice towards my face. I did it back and we continued to do so a few minutes.

Eddie then booped my nose with a whole bunch of watermelon juice on his hands. I squealed as it uncomfortably dripped down my nose and lip.

" Eddie you ass!" I yelled at him playfully, I then did the same to him, he laughed loudly before grabbing a piece that he cut and throwing at me, it hit the middle of my chest before falling onto the floor.

I grabbed another piece and threw it back, he dodged it and it fell behind him. I tried to throw more at him before he picked me up and smashed a piece onto the back of my shoulder. I tried to kick out of his grip.

" Steve said hurry up by the way," Robin said as she walked past up to the fridge to pull out a soda. Eddie set me down, and we finished cutting up the watermelon.

We put some in a bowl for Steve and Pam. And we cleaned up the mess.

" Wait, you've got juice all over your back," Eddie chuckled before grabbing a napkin from the table to wipe off the juice,

"Yeah thanks to you! I'm gonna get you back, Eddie!"
