The upper levels of Atlas, an area Y/N had avoided like the plague up to this point.

The second he stepped foot off the transport his senses were nearly overridden with new experiences.

The air was almost cleaner, smelling fresh with a hint of perfume everywhere he went. Not to mention warmer, allowing just about anyone to walk around with whatever clothes they pleased, and the people had a very unique sense of fashion.

Most of these people weren't all that bad, they stayed here from an honest living and upbringing, while others, let's just say it was because of them that Y/N carried Memento Mori and Sovereign with him.

As he walked the streets, anyone that identified him in his new dark apparel steered clear of his path and made no attempt at conversation. They all knew what he did in Mantle with the sword on his back.

Y/N wouldn't come here for just any reason, no, he shared in his late wife's mentality when it came to this sort of lifestyle.

This place is too rich for my blood...

A few more minutes of walking and he came upon his destination, a very high class and fancy hotel going by the name of 'The Glass Unicorn'. Unfortunately, the entrance was bustling with people.

For a moment, Y/N thought someone knew of his trip, but those worries quickly settled when they were much more focused on the empty road.

Walking the short set of stairs, he noticed a rather expensive car pulling up and soon being swarmed by the paparazzi.

The driver side door popped open with a unique mechanism, sliding in a clockwise manner to reveal the interest of all the shoving and shouting photographers.

A woman, standing tall on expensive heels came strutting out, treating the small set of stairs like a runway of her own before tossing the keys to a starstruck valet.

Y/N nodded to himself, taking this opportunity to slip past everyone without a second glance.

Thanks, I guess.

The woman retained everyone's attention, and at the corner of his eyes, Y/N could see that she liked it. What she didn't like was how she hadn't attained all of it.

Walking inside, Y/N was immediately met with another valet, and this one wasn't as starstruck as his co-workers.

"Uhhh, good evening, sir." The young man gulped when Y/N towered over him with Sovereign's hilt in plain view. "M-may I take your coat? M-maybe have your s-sword polished?"

"No." Y/N replied with an inside voice. "That's alright."

"Okay." The valet whispered with a heavy sigh as Death brushed past.

The Glass Unicorn. It wasn't anything specials to Y/N, but to most Hunters it was their unofficial home, or one away from it.

The walls were nearly golden in color with a healthy contrast of a warm mahogany in the mix.

Each step was also cushioned by a grand red carpet, highlighted by the many soft lights hanging on the walls as well as the open glass ceiling, displaying the stars.

In some areas, Y/N spotted many Grimm statues, hand sculpted and displayed for whatever reason.

It would have been a comfortable place to rest, if not for the many drunks lounging about in the main hall, and the sign out front restricting faunus from entering. That alone left a bad taste in the Hunter's mouth.

Seeing that there was no sign of Rhodes or the Maiden, he grabbed an empty chair at an equally empty table.

Laying Sovereign at his side was enough to dissuade any drunk or Hunter from making conversation, of course, he welcomed a young woman in a classy suit.
