Chapter 80

Matt's POV: Once me and Gabby made our way onto the deck and got undressed (Into our swimwear) so that we could get in the water, I smiled when I went to get in ahead of her. While normally I would let her get in first, times were different since she needed my help to get in. Standing at the stairs, I smiled as Gabby finished taking off the clothes she had on top of her tight swimsuit. And god did she look sexy wearing it. "Okay, now come join me please." Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I said that, coming to join me in the pool that morning.

Watching her (slowly) get into the pool with me, I made sure to put my hand on her back to make sure that she was safe. "Sorry if I am being a little protective." Gabby turned to look at me when I said that. "Hey, it's okay Matt. We have gone over this countless times. This is the first pregnancy you have been here from the start. You are protective because you want to see a pregnancy from start to finish...successfully." I smiled and agreed with her when she said that. Feeling Gabby get close to me, I went to wrap my arm around her and just smiled at her.

"You want me to pick you up in my arms or you just want to stand?" Gabby smiled when I asked her that before putting her hands on my chest. "What do you think?" I laughed and smiled as I went to go pick her up in my arms. Wrapping her legs around my waist, I smiled as we held each other close. Wrapping my arms around her waist, I watched as Gabby wrapped her arms around my neck and stared into my eyes. "So, you enjoy last night?" I smiled and nodded when she asked me that. "Which part?" Gabby laughed and smiled at me. "The event." I nodded. "Yes."

Gabby just smiled at me. "Did you kinda get the vibe of the stuff the charity does?" I nodded when she asked me that. "Yes, I read a lot of the material." Gabby smiled when I said that. "Good, because I am worried." I was confused when she said that. "Worried about what? You know that I don't like it when you hide your worries from me Gabby. Talk to me babe." Gabby sighed when I asked her that. "I am worried that you aren't going to know what the mission is." I sighed when she said that. "Gabby, of course I know the mission. You have told me it a lot."

Gabby nodded when I said that. "So, I caught you talking to Boden a lot last night. Do I have anything to be worried about?" I looked at her when she asked me that. "Hey, of course not Gabby...I am fully committed to us moving to Puerto Rico with the kids. Please don't think that me talking to Boden means that I am changing my mind." Gabby nodded and agreed with me. "We were talking about the Firehouse 51 Christmas Dinner." Gabby smiled when I said that. "I want to go one last time Matt." I smiled and agreed with her. "I was thinking the same thing."

Gabby then bit her lip. "Just curious, how are you dealing with the idea that you aren't going to just be able to drive over to the firehouse whenever you want?" I sighed when she asked me that. "I am getting used to it." Moving my arms around her back, I just held her close to me. Gabby then went to put her hands on my chest and smiled at me. "It's easier because we have the kids honestly. I am not sure it would be as easy as it is now if we didn't have the kids." Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I said that, going to kiss me softly that morning.

"So tomorrow is 4 1/2 months until we meet our daughter." I smiled when she said that. "I know, it's wild." Gabby agreed with me when I said that before going to lean her forehead against mine. "I am still so excited for it. Giving birth in Puerto Rico, still a little nervous about that." I nodded and agreed with her when she said that. "Hey, I am going to be there every step of the way Gabby. If you want Gabby, this time...we can do a scheduled C-Section." Gabby agreed with me when I said that. "Honestly, I was really considering that. I am just worried I guess."

I nodded and agreed with Gabby when she said that. "Hey, and it's completely understandable that you would be scared and worried about it after what happened last time Gabby. Please do not think that you are being irrational in being worried." Gabby nodded and agreed with me when I said that. Going to wrap my arms around her tighter, I felt her cuddle up to me more and just smiled as she went to leave a kiss on my neck. "I still can't believe at 4 years ago today we were married for the first time." I nodded and agreed with her when she said that.

"Honestly, I just wish it would be our 4th anniversary. We should've never gotten a divorce." Gabby nodded and agreed with me when I said that, laying down on my chest as we cuddled up to each other more. Moving to rub her back, I just smiled at her because this is exactly what I want to be doing right now. Nothing like holding my girl in my arms. God, this is exactly what we both need right now. I can just tell that Gabby is stressed right now. Maybe me holding her like this is calming her down. "This keeping you calm and helping you relax babe?" Gabby nodded.

"I guess I am just starting to get cold feet again, worried that you and the kids aren't really coming." I shook my head when she said that. "Hey, that isn't something you have to worry about okay Gabby? We are coming. That's final." Gabby nodded and smiled as she wrapped her arms tight around my neck. Going to grab her back, I smiled as I went to kiss her softly. "I love you and I am so ready to go to Puerto Rico with you. I am so excited about it." Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I said that. "And I can't wait to watch the kids reacting to a new world."

I smiled and just nodded. "God, that is weird. I just hope you know that I do expect to come back to introduce this little one here to our friends." Gabby laughed and smiled when I said that. "Oh definitely. Plus, I am sure that someday we are going to come back full time. I just think we rushed everything. We need to get our things in order." I nodded and agreed with her when she said that. "Gabby, think maybe we can start doing something?" Gabby looked at me when I asked her that. "Depends what it is?" I smiled when Gabby asked me that. "What do you think of us just living in the moment?" Gabby smiled and agreed with me. "That sounds perfect actually."

I smiled and agreed with her. "Something else that sounds perfect is the name Isabella." Gabby looked at me when I said that. "Isabella Louise is the name we chose right?" I nodded and smiled. "I love that name." Going to put my hand on her stomach, I smiled. "What do you think Isabella Louise?" I was hoping to get a reaction from our baby girl and lucky for me...that is the exact thing that happened. Going to put my hand on her side, I turned my head and then went to kiss her neck softly as we held each other close. "You know what we need to talk about?"

Gabby turning her head when I asked her that. "No, what?" I smiled when she asked me that. "We need to talk about what we want to find in a new home in San Juan. And I hope you do know I mean San Juan. I am not sure if I like the idea of working in the rural area. I really hated it when you were there the first time." Gabby nodded and agreed with me. "Even if you are there?" I sighed and agreed with her. "Yes, because of the kids." Gabby then thought about it and nodded. "Speaking of the kids, are we going to make them share rooms?" I agreed.

"Oh yes. The twins are each going to share rooms." Gabby agreed with me when I said that. "You mean the quads?" I nodded and smiled at her. "Yeah...I read online the proper term is two twins since they are mixed gender." Gabby smiled and just agreed with me when I said that. "I will trust you when you say that." She then went to kiss me and just smiled as we took it slow with each other. "We need to get a pool at our place. Then, we can have sex in it." Gabby laughed and smiled when she said that before nodding. "Oh definitely. That is sexy." I smiled and agreed with her.

Kissing her again, I smiled as we took it slow with each other when I heard a hotel staff speak to us. "If you guys have sex in the pool, you will be kicked out of the hotel." I then turned around and looked at him. "Sorry, we are talking about when we are in our new home. We are moving next month." He then gulped and agreed with me. "Sorry. But seriously, you do it...go home." I laughed when he said that and just watched as Gabby wrapped her arms around my head. She then went to kiss my cheek while holding me close to her. "God, it's so tempting."

"We can do it when we are in bed." I smiled and agreed with her when she said that. "You know which room we are in right?" Gabby smiled when I asked her that. "Same one as last year?" I nodded when she asked me that. "I just had to do it. I mean, the memories we made there a year ago was amazing. By the way, I said happy 4th right?" Gabby laughed and agreed with me, going to kiss me softly. "Yes, yes you did. Please just relax for now." I smiled when she said that, giving her another kiss as we just held each other close in the pool while relaxing together.
