After our meal, Asuma-sensei and team 10 came by to hang out for a bit. It was still a bit early. Asuma-sensei asked if i would play Shogi with him since he always loses to Shikamaru. We brought the board outside on the porch and sat by the edge. Ino and Choji were busy chatting with my classmates and the Mankai members. Shikamaru left the herd to hang out with us saying they where too loud. We began out little game of chess, taking turns, making one move after the other. "I'd be careful with her sensei." Shikamaru said as he layed on his side facing us. Asuma-sensei chuckled. "I bet so." he said and looked at me. "Last time i played with you was when you were still a chunin." He smiled looking down at the board. "Yeah." I looked to the side apologetically "I wanted to play but we've been so buys lately." He in turn let out a small laugh. There was a slight pause. "Do you two still remember what i said about the king?" He said as he moved his king to a different position. I looked at Shikamaru and he looked at me. we then adverted our gaze to Asuma-sensei. "Yeah what about it?" Shikamaru asked. "Are you finally going to reveal to us who's the King?" i asked tilting my head. "You two still haven't figured it out?" He looked at us smugly. "The two people i cant beat in chess cant find the answer in a simple riddle." He placed his chin on his palm "My, have the worlds changed." he said. "Why keep us hooked on it though?" I asked pouting at him. "There's no point on reminding us if you keep hiding the answer from us." Asuma-sensei smiled widely at us. "Don't worry there is. You'll just have to wait a little while longer to understand what i mean." We stared at him like he was crazy. Shikamaru sighed loudly "What a drag." He rolled over and laid on his back. I couldn't help but think there was some bigger message hidden in that but i'll let it go. Asuma-sensei was busy laughing to himself, i on the other hand looked at the board and made my move. "Checkmate." I looked at him, He immediately stopped laughing and looked at the board. "Wah?- How?" I giggled "I told you." Shikamaru looked at Asuma-sensei "She had you pinned down since your fifth move. She was just playing with you." Shikamaru looked away and closed his eyes. Asuma-sensei looked at me "Sorry sensei." I smiled cheekily. He blinked a few times and laughed. "You really have grown have you." He leaned in from across the table and patted my head. "Im proud to have watch you grow up." I looked back at him, he then sat back down and looked at Shikamaru. "All of you." I smiled back at Asuma-sesnei. Asuma smiled back and said
"One more round?"

"One more time." Asuma sensei said. I huffed and ran towards Shikamaru punching and spinning around to kick him while Gray ran past me to tackle him. When Shikamaru fell backwards we wasted no time and fused. This time we successfully fused into the large tiger like grey maine coon. We charged at Shikamaru fitting him a few times before unfusing with Gray. It was hard to focus on my Cat cloak while fusing then unfusing with Gray.

I could feel the cat cloak jutsu slipping away. "Stop" We all halted on the spot and looked at Asuma-sensei. "You lost your focus again." I sighed and flopped on the ground. "Im exhausted!" I closed my eyes tightly and panted catching my breath. "Shikamaru you can go rest now." I opened my eyes and saw Shikamaru leave and head towards a tree. "You both need to fuse and unfuse effortlessly. Especially with your time limit of three minutes. You need to use that time wisely. Not a second to waste. Got that?" Asuma-sensei said. I nodded and brought myself to stand up. "Right." I looked at Gray. His look was determined and still had fire power. "Let's do it." Gray huffed "What ever you say." He said getting riled up. We fused and unfused again trying to master the technique until out 3 minutes of usage ran out. By that time, both Gray and me had already reached out limit we both crawled under a tree, exhausted from our training. "You both did well." Yamato-sensei and Asuma-sensei was walking up to us. Yamato-sensei had been observing me since the start of the training. Making sure i dont turn. "Thanks Yamato-sensei but i think im beat." I said tiredly. "He sat beside me while Asuma-sensei sat on my other side leaning on the tree. Gray crawled on my lap and curled up into a ball yawning before setting his head down sleeping. I smiled at the sight of Gray. I yawned and leaned to Asuma-sensei's arm and closed my eyes drifting to sleep.
