Beginning Hour (TehFawkes)

TehFawkes cuddling for the soul because I just watched Smerty's Resident Evil 7 teaser playthrough and I figured I could go for a smol Drabble 

There's a little knock knock knock on Tom's office door,where the blond had been working on some editing. He looks up from his computer to see John standing there in one of Tom's T-shirts and boxers,rubbing his eyes. Tom smiles softly, "Hey baby. I'll be there in ten minutes." 

John sniffled quietly,and that's when Tom looks closer and realises there are a few tears on his smol face. Concerned,Tom stands up and walks up to John,who makes tiny grabby motions at Tom until the taller male hugs him. "Nightmare?" Tom asks quietly,and John nods against the blond's chest. Tom sighs a bit,and he returns to his computer briefly to make sure his shit is saved,before escorting John back to their bedroom. 

The smoller male is happy enough to curl up on the bed when Tom lays next to him,tucking his face under Tom's chin. The blond rubs a hand over his spine,down the length of his back and then upwards again,trying to soothe his boyfriend. "Was it that game you played today? The Resident Evil one?" 

John nods and Tom sighs quietly,stroking his hair with his free hand. "It's okay darling,I'm here. It's just a game. When we wake up I'll cook you breakfast and we can snuggle up and watch some movies,okay? I'll take care of you dear."

John smiles softly and he cuddles up to Tom,kissing his collarbone in gratitude. Tom kissed the top of his head,carding fingers gently through his mop of dyed hair until the smaller male fell asleep.
