(Okay, by the title you all are going to be very triggered, so if you wanna skip and not have your blood pressure raised. I suggest you do it now.)
Anyway on with the story.

Peter was heading to school he had to take a different subway route, as his regular subway was out of order for repairs. So when he got on he put his headphones in his ears, tapping play on his playlist. Obviously, super hearing isn't all cracked up as it is to a lot of people.
Peter thought about how him, Ned, and MJ were going to a cabin for a getaway weekend. It was all super exciting, because Tony offered the use of one of his cabin's. Either way Peter was getting away from all the chaos, that is city life.
(That may be a future one shot just saying 😁)
As he held onto his backpack straps, a woman sat next to him. He glanced over at her and smiled, then took out his phone to see a text from May. He smiled, May always worried if he grabbed his lunch money.
After he replied he looked to see the woman next to him scoffed, it looked as if she said something. He took one of his earbuds out of his ear and gave her a puzzled look. "I'm sorry ma'am, I didn't hear you."
"You shouldn't be on your phone it's a distraction for everyone." She said. Peter looked around to see everyone keeping to themselves.
"Ma'am, everyone else is doing things on their own accord. I'm not doing anything to disrupt." Peter replied.
The woman didn't like how Peter replied, though he didn't do anything wrong. So she fully turned to him and spoke in the most condescending tone Peter has ever heard. "You need to respect your elders young man, you Gen Z's are atrocious." She said.
Peter sighed quietly, "Ma'am, I did nothing wrong. The reason I was on my phone was to text my aunt who asked me a question."
"Your aunt should know she raised an awful and disrespectful human being!" The lady exclaimed.
Peter grabbed his earbud, getting ready to put it back in his ear, "I shouldn't have to explain myself to someone, who thinks it's okay to talk that way to a minor. And I most certainly don't like the way you're talking about my aunt."
He put it back in pressing play, he could tell, in the corner of his eye the lady was still trying to yell at him. But he tried to drown her out, when out of nowhere she brought her hand up and yanked his earbuds out of his ears.
"What the heck?!" Peter looked at her, it was clear she knew what she did. A few people noticed how distressed Peter was and rushed to his aid.
"Lady back off, the kid didn't do anything to you, if you're that pressed ignore it. You just assaulted him!" A guy came up to the woman. Another woman got Peter out of his seat and let him sit next to her.
The man and the other woman continued to argue, at this point people had their phones and recorded the entire thing. Peter felt scared, he wanted May to come pick him up from his stop.
One person ended up calling the police, so as soon as the subway train stopped, police came in and got the woman out and asked Peter to share his side. The woman who had took him away from the quarrel, stuck with him as police asked questions.
Peter did end up contacting May who came and wanted to know what was going on. "Your nephew was assaulted by this random woman on the train, she kept saying how he was being rude. And then yanked his headphones out of his ears." The lady told May.
"What's your name ma'am?" Peter asked.
"I'm Bailey, I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself earlier, I just wanted to get you away from that Karen." The lady, aka Bailey said.
"Thank you for looking out my nephew, I think we're gonna head home." May said, the police took the Karen into custody and she was charged for assaulting a minor.
Meanwhile May and Peter ordered take-out, and cuddled on their living room couch having a Harry Potter movie marathon. Today was unbelievably insane.
