(This is a continuation to the previous Yandere Kato stories. Also I apologize for the late delays yet again.)
So much has happened ever since the Strawhats went to Totto Land.
Big Mom was already mad at Luffy for what happened at Fishman Island.
But once she heard he was in Tottoland and defeated Cracker, she lost it.
She demanded everyone to search and imprison Strawhat until she finally got to him.
But of course he escaped.
And the search continued.
You on the other hand didn't have time to search for Strawhat.
You honestly thought it wasn't within your jurisdiction to find the intruders.
So you helped organize the wedding by carefully picking out the flowers for the wedding and taking good care of them so they would be big and beautiful the day of the wedding.
But as you were in the garden you ran into Pedro, distracting you from your duties.
You were so happy to see Pedro again but alas, he had other things on his mind.
He didn't hesitate to draw out his sword and threated you to tell him where the groom was being held.
It broke your heart to see him like that.
You thought that he would've at least asked how you were and such.
But there you were, at the other end of his sword.
Once you told him what he needed to know, he left without another word.
You didn't think he would've hurt you like how he did before.
You knew it was best that you two remained strangers but the more serious it got, the more it hurt.
But like before you couldn't show it, or else the beautiful flowers will perish from the negative energy.
The day of the wedding you ensured that the flowers on display were still beautiful.
That was until the wedding was crashed.
You were about to run to get the flowers out of harm's way until Kato got a hold of your arm.
Kato- "Leave them."
You- "W-What?!"
Kato- "Leave them, and get out of here."
You- "K-Kato I can't ju-"
Kato then pulled you closer to him.
Kato- "-I wasn't asking, now get going!"
You didn't want to leave the flowers, but you knew better than to piss off Kato.
You nodded and were about to head for the secret exit but kato's grip on your arm didn't loosen.
Kato- "Don't go back to Mama's."
You turned to him confused.
Kato- "You will be staying with me."
You- "Seed Island? I don't think I ca-"
Kato's grip got tighter, making you wince.
Kato- "-I told you before, ONLY I CAN KEEP YOU SAFE, now get to Seed Island and wait for me in my palace!"
Kato basically pushed you down once he finished speaking.
Kato didn't seem angry at that moment, he seemed...afraid.
But of what?
Is he actually worried about you?
If he was then why didn't he just say so instead of tossing you like a rag doll?
Without another word, you quickly got up and made your way over to the secret exit and got on a ship going to Seed Island.
You were saddened to leave your belongings and the plants, but you knew disobeying Kato was not an option at the moment.
**A Few Days Later**
So much had happened at that time yet you weren't there to witness it.
You heard from other servants that Pekoms was the reason that the Strawhats were able to enter the Yonko's territory to begin with.
He had betrayed Big Mom and has paid the ultimate price.
But so did Pedro.
When you heard that Pedro had sacrificed himself in order to save the Strawhats, it hurt you.
Yet you didn't cry.
You were so busy with Kato that you didn't even have time to cry.
Or maybe you just didn't care anymore.
Either way, you knew crying for him would mean nothing to him.
*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*
Kato- "Enter..."
You opened the door and found Kato sitting on the edge of his bed.
You- "Um...I-Its time to change your bandages."
Kato- "Right.."
You went over and carefully removed the old bandages that are covered in blood again.
You- "Y-You ripped the stitches again.."
Kato sighed.
Kato- "So fix it..."
You sighed and nodded.
When Kato asked you, no, ORDERED you to go to Seed Island, you waited for him just as he requested.
And good thing you were able to get there when you could or else that lockdown would've affected you.
But when he returned home he was in such horrible state.
Him and Pedro clashed during the escape and Pedro left Kato heavily injured.
Normally you would've been happy that Kato got what he deserved but you weren't.
You ran over and helped Kato up to his room and tended to his wounds.
You didn't know why you were so worried for Kato at that time.
But the more you thought about it the more clear it got.
Kato worried for you at that time too.
It was only fair that you return the affection.
You- "There, all done."
Kato said nothing, just stared out the window.
You picked up the old bandages and gathered all of your supplies.
You- "I'll...I'll be on my way...I'll be back to check up on you later..."
You were about to open the door when you saw Kato's hand push the door closed.
You turned around and saw Kato standing right behind you, panting heavily.
You- "Kato..you need to rest..y-you'll rip the s-"
Kato- "-He doesn't love you."
You- "W-What?"
Kato- "...I wanted to kill him.....When he mentioned you.."
You- "K-Kato.."
Kato- "That mink...That coward....dared to threatened you...Behind my back..."
You saw Kato was angry but you were worried for his injuries.
You- "Kato please...just lie down...you're still injured..."
Kato still panted heavily but slowly made his way over to his bed.
You helped him by supporting him and helped him get under the sheets.
You- "Do you...Do you need anything before I lea-?"
Kato- "Don't.."
You- "H-Huh?'
Kato- "Don't leave..."
You were confused but you knew questioning Kato wasn't an option at the moment.
You nodded and went to go sit besides him.
Kato- "(Y/N)."
You turned your head to look at him.
You- "Y-Yes Kato?"
Kato- "...only I can keep you safe...understood?"
You- "Um..yes but-."
Kato- "-But what?"
You- "..not to doubt you or anything...but you need to rest to avoid reopening your wound again."
Kato- "I got this wound on your behalf (Y/N)...I have done my part...And now you OWE me your word...and your loyalty to me."
You- "O-Of course..."
