"Why are you just staring at y/n?" Dustin asked cocking his curly haired head to the side.
"Oh shit" Gareth said connecting the dots in his brain. He was the only one Eddie ever told that he was crushing on y/n for a few years.
"You still got a crush on her?" Gareth asked nudging Eddie as he was still looking over at y/n.
"What?" Eddie asked turning his attention back to his group. He was baffled that Gareth just flat out asked him in front of all of the party.
"Y/n, you still got a crush on her or what?"
"Nah, moved on" Eddie shrugged trying to ignore y/ns loud beautiful laugh. Trying to keep his attention on his friends.
"You used to like her? Damn that sucks man" Mike muttered out, seeing Eddie's demeanor change, showing he was frustrated at the conversation.
"gotta be hard since- ya know, you used to be in love with her.. now that she's your sister" dustin chimed in, feeling sad for his friend.
"Step sister cousin or something like that, but still those feelings are long gone" Eddie explained rocking on his feet. He made sure to emphasize the 'Step', y/ns mom and Eddie uncle wed just about 8 months ago.

"Hey kids" Wayne said watching both of them come through the front door laughing at something.

"That's a good idea" Eddie called from the kitchen digging in the menu drawer for the pizza places number.
"You know, I'm glad you two get along. Was scared Eddie would traumatize you with his music and looks" Wayne said watching his wife pack her lunch for the night.

Eddie had never been happier, his girl was about to be all his. No one to stop them from holding hands at the grocery store, no one to judge them if they kissed.
