I was staying in my uncle's house when I saw my 5-year old niece, Abigail, sitting on the stairs. She was making some funny faces, so I asked her what she was doing. She replied, "I'm copying the lady with the braid."
There was no one there, so I questioned further.
"Where is the lady, Abigail?"
She pointed at wall near the door entrance upstairs.
"What's the lady doing?"
"Making a funny face."
I was about to go upstairs when Abigail said something that send chills to my spine.
"Her braid is around her neck, and she's making funny faces at me."
Then, Abigail proceeded to recreate the expression: wide eyes, mouth hung open, and her tongue sticking out.
Still remembering that tragic moment, I realized it was the face of someone strangled to death.
