Let me explain to show you why "a haunted doll" is the answer.
1. It's a present. Meaning, the answer has to be given and make children happy. Star, snow, or a dove isn't really a common gift.
2. The present is alive. Something that kills people are evil in the inside - not "cute and pretty".
3. The "majestic creature" can see above everyone. So, it must have some kind of wings. Get where I'm going?
4. The picture shows a teeny hint! I didn't express that the present has wings, but a winter dove does.
