Harp was happy to finally be in some female company, especially with Taron. She was happy to see her friend was doing well and had a happy brood of three. Harp couldn't wait until she could see the children, but she'd have to wait awhile for that. She didn't want to leave her egg for that long around Ghidorah. She still didn't trust Ni to be gentle with it.
They talked for what felt like several hours, and Harp still had so much she wanted to tell Taron. She wanted to tell Taron about her adventures with Ghidorah and the stupid humans. She also told her about her becoming an Elder.
While they were talking, a small cracking noise echoed through the cave. Harp immediately turned over to the egg to see it rocking. It had a crack over it as well.
Her egg was hatching after only a few days.
Harp screeched for her mate. Seconds later, the booming sounds of them running into the cave became apparent. They came in, teeth bared for any sort of threat, but they would find no threat, but what they found was just as shocking.
A little golden wyvern sat where the egg was.
