"Honey stay here, I'll be back," Harp trilled softly, standing on the edge of the crater as she looked down at the three headed dragon. Tossing her head towards the fifth wheel of the party, she added, "And take good care of him." With that, she left.
"Can't believe we are on babysitting duty," Ni grumbled in irritation. Ichi rolled his eyes at his brother. Ignoring the right head, he turned to the left head. Gently nudging Rodan with his snout, San mumbled, "Come on, you gotta eat."
"And what? Have it fall right out of the huge hole in my chest?" Rodan hissed. His retort ended with a hacking cough so loud it sounded like it hurt. Rolling over onto his side, the massive prehistoric reptile continued to wheeze. Ghidorah was afraid he would hack up a lung or something.
"Is he going to be alright?" San asked quietly. Neither of his brothers answered. Lowering his head down towards Rodan, Ichi rumbled softly, "Get some sleep. We'll keep watch." Sighing softly, Rodan gave in and closed his eyes. Laying down nearby, San curled his neck around the Fire Demon while his two older brothers kept watch.
