"Wish you were here Mothra..." Godzilla murmured quietly. A week had officially passed now. Yet the egg still hadn't moved. He knew it took awhile for it to hatch and it was all up to Mothra. She could come out in a minute or she might wait a whole century. It was all up to her.
The worst part was waiting. Godzilla had no idea how long he was gonna have to wait for his precious Queen to hatch. He prayed it wouldn't be forever. He couldn't bear the thought of living without Mothra by his side. Especially in times like this.
It was then Godzilla noticed how exhausted he was. He had not rested for over a week. He was dead tired. Yawning loudly, the overgrown lizard looked down at the egg he was protecting. Mothra would want him to take care of himself. Besides, a nap wouldn't hurt anyone, right? Blinking his golden eyes shut, he fell asleep and dreamed about Mothra.
And wondered what he was gonna say to her when she finally hatched.
