Taron was frightened out of her mind. She and Harp had been given an important mission by the King of the Monsters himself. Well, that's what Godzilla had told them. He had sent the pair to fetch both Ghidorah and Rodan. He also told them there was nothing to worry about and to watch their backs.

No need to worry, yeah right.

Flying over the calm waters of the ocean, Taron glanced over at her friend Harp. Neither of them had said a word since they began their little excursion. The griffin was lost in her thoughts while the bird of prey was too scared to speak. Who wouldn't be scared if they were about to meet Ghidorah, the One Who is Many? Also, Rodan would be there.

Taron wasn't sure why. But there was something about Rodan that intrigued her. Normally, she was very nervous around other Titans, even if she was way bigger than them. The only two exceptions were Harp and Mothra. When Godzilla took her along a week ago to confront Rodan on the matter of Ghidorah, she surprisingly felt a bit comfortable in his presence. Sure, she had been frightened at first but then she saw that he was a warm - literally - and thoughtful person who had a bit of humor and often spoke what was on his mind.

Kinda like her except without the humor and speaking often what was on her mind.

"We're almost there," Harp declared. Looking up, Taron saw the island and its rocky volcano. She didn't see much movement going around so either no one was home, they were asleep or they were dead. Hopefully, it was number two. Landing on the side of the volcano a split second after Harp, the bird of prey watched as the griffin crept towards the crater. She held her breath as she expected the worst to happen.

Anything could happen when you're dealing with the Death Song of Three Storms, anything.
