I know it's more work but I'm doing both. It's needed. There's DaddyBats and M'gann being a pure fucking bean. This is so long and I think I'll have to do a part three maybe I dunno. Lemme know what you think.

EDIT: I DONT REALLY KNOW HOW TO TW THIS IT'S JUST INTENSE THEMES IF ANYONE CAN SUM IT UP BETTER I'LL PUT THAT INSTEAD

The hug had disbanded at this point but Miss Martian still held onto Robin tightly. She felt as though if she let go, the bullet would fly up and bury itself into his brain. Robin just hugged her back. He'd cried so hard that his emotions were shot, irony unintended. He had felt so helpless yet so in control. He felt like he didn't have a choice yet he did. The conflicted emotions matched with the exhaustion following his crying left him a shell. He was at least thankful for the assurance that a member of his team stayed with him. M'gann and Robin differed slightly from their teammates. It wasn't a big difference but it did influence how they reacted. They were both quite emotional creatures. Robin kept most of those emotions to himself until he couldn't keep them locked up anymore and they leaked through his confident front. M'gann skipped the locking up part and emotions seemed to run through her so clearly. This trait was clear in moments like this. They didn't want to let go of one another.

"We should meet with the League," Flash announced. He was shaken up from before, they could see it. His eyes still hadn't gone back to normal. Had he been just a few seconds late there would've been a screaming team and a dead bird in a pool of blood. His mind helped to fill in the blanks of the horrific hypothetical sight. Aqualad nodded and put a hand on M'ganns shoulder. She had small tears sitting on her freckled cheeks and her eyes were wet, afraid. "We need to go," he told her sternly. She needed that sternness. With one swift movement, she was standing with Robin's limbs wrapped around her. She was set on not breaking this hug they had. She could feel his fear. She could feel his emotions better than any of them. It was something they bonded over sometimes. Behind Batman and Kid Flash, she was the best at reading him.

In all their time of knowing one another, Kid Flash had never seen him so fucked up. The kid had nearly died countless times but he knew why this was such a jolt to the system. It wasn't a major villian who held the gun, it wasn't a lone henchman, it wasn't a friend under mind control. It was Robin. Robin had held the power and he had used it on himself. "Don't you want to let go Rob?" he asked. Robin didn't make any attempt at a response. "He doesn't," Miss Martian stated.

"He doesn't or do you not want him to?" he asked cautiously.

"Why should it matter?" she snapped. A tremble from Robin called off the makings of an argument. He gripped onto her cape softly then let go. The grip was telling her to calm down. Telling her that their teammate meant well. So she calmed down. If she didn't know any better, she would think he could feel her emotions in the exact same way. He felt it in a different way, however. He felt it and used it to help. She felt it and got overwhelmed instantly. They began to walk out together, the silence only broken by the small sniffles and whimpers from Robin. Artemis was the first to actually see his face and just from that sight, she felt bile rise up in her throat. He was pale, his eyes completely glazed over. "Robin?" she asked, making sure he was actually alive. "Flash should he look like that?" she asked once she didn't get a reply from the Boy Wonder. The speedster took a look and grimaced slightly. "He's just coming off of his adrenaline. He'll be fine." He skipped saying the additional "I think" for the betterment of the teens that surrounded him. Black Canary would have her work cut out.

They met up with the League who had just peeled Batman away from the unconscious form they recognised as the Joker. His white make-up stained Batman's black gloves but he didn't care. That part was clear. His nemesis was beaten black and blue, looking one good punch away from death. "Batman," Flash announced, showing off the protégés. Their mentors were all there and most enveloped their son/daughter figures in hugs. Superman just awkwardly nodded to Superboy. Flash took this moment to hug Kid Flash and felt him finally relax. Artemis welcomed the hug without a slight bit of hesitance, she needed it. Aquaman gave Aqualad the quick sign of affection he needed to keep being strong. He'd check up thoroughly later. "What happened?" Batman asked, seeing how ghastly they all looked. There was no brightness. "That monster forced Robin to kill a teammate! He chose himself! Flash came just in time," Miss Martian shouted, shielding Robin's ears. He barely flinched.
