Just Robin one shots

Younger Justice part 4

"It's Robin, he's going to be kidnapped," Selina told him. She sounded unusually apprehensive. Selina had been getting close to Bruce and Dick and found that she cared for Dick. "By whom?" Batman asked sternly. "Joker, he's going to turn him into a child. You need to protect him. Robin won't remember who he is so he'll play right into his hands!" she answered. 

"He's already a child. Go to the Batcave and Alfred will send you to Mount Justice. Maybe you can help us from there," Batman replied. 

"Bruce, I'm already here. Joker, Poison Ivy and I are in here and they're going to get him. I can't guarantee I'll grab him before the others," she told him.

"How did they get in here?" Batman asked. 

"You do realize that the security here is awful. Robin hasn't updated it since those robots got in," she answered. "I have to go. Just gather them together and hope for the best," she added before hanging up.

Flash stared at Batman, waiting for him to share the details of the call. "Flash, tell the others to quickly find everyone, now," Batman ordered. 

"Why? What's happening?" Flash asked confusedly.

"Joker, Ivy and Catwoman are here. Catwoman just told me that they're going to kidnap Robin," he answered.

"But I thought Catwoman was cool with you now and won't Robin know to just stay away from them?" he asked. 

"It's complicated and no he won't remember them, now go!" Batman demanded. Flash nodded and ran to find the others as Batman began his search for the villains.

Green Arrow and Wonder Woman had already found Artemis, Conner, M'gann and Kaldur in the first few minutes. Artemis told him she saw Wally hide in the souvenir room and they were moments away from finding him when Flash burst into the room, making them all jump violently. He began to shout at them quickly making his words muddle together. "Flash, slow down!" Wonder Woman exclaimed. Flash took a deep breath then repeated his message. 

"You need to find all the kids because Joker and Ivy are in the building and they're going to kidnap Robin." Their eyes widened and Wally walked out of his hiding place. 

"But Robin will know who they are and stay away from them, right?" Green Arrow asked.

"No, he won't remember them. Please tell me you've found him," Flash answered. Silence was his answer. "Ok, Green Arrow you look after the kids. Wonder Woman search all the rooms you haven't been in and I'll check their bedrooms," Flash ordered before running out the room. Wonder Woman ran out and to the right, leaving Green Arrow with the kids. "Can't we help find Robin?" Wally asked. 

"Yeah we may be kids but he's still our team member!" Artemis added. 

"Sorry kids, we can't have you all missing," Green Arrow told them. 

"So we're all just going to sit around whilst our youngest member is missing and villains are ready to kidnap him?" Connor said flatly. Green Arrow rubbed the back of his neck. 

"Well when you put it like that it sounds bad," he replied. He sighed heavily then rubbed the bridge of his nose. "Fine we'll look for him but you have to stick with me." They nodded and ran off. "I just said to stick with me..."

Meanwhile, Robin sat in the vents quietly. He got bored and decided to do a little work, by work I mean he played games. Then he heard movement but it didn't sound like any of the seekers. It sounded like thorns scraping metal. Confused, he moved towards it. "Hello?" he asked quietly. 

"Hello, child. What's your name?" A woman asked. She had shoulder length red hair and wore a green corset that looked like it was made out of leaves. Definitely not a seeker. She smiled warmly at him. "I'm Robin, who are you?" he answered. 

"I'm Poison Ivy," she replied. A part of her found the young bird adorable but then she remembered when his grown up self kicked her in the face. "That's a nice name. Why are you in the vents, Poison Ivy? Are you playing hide and seek too?" he asked.

"I'm here to take you somewhere." 

"Does Batman know?" She nodded and he smiled at her. "Ok let's go," he said as she began leading him out the vents. 

They dropped down from the vents in front of the Zetatubes. She held his hand and led him up to the tubes. "Robin!" Flash yelled. Robin turned around and waved. Posion Ivy moved her hand and vines wrapped around his legs. "I'd love to play Flash but I have a delivery to make," Poison Ivy taunted. Catwoman jumped down from the vents and held Robin's other hand. "Come on Robin, let's get you to Batman," she said, sneaking a wink to Flash. She put a small tracking device on Robin and a small box with a screen on it was thrown to Flash. Flash smiled to himself as they left. "Well at least I know where they're going," he muttered as everyone in the mountain ran to the tubes.
