Thank you all for reading my stories and it's kinda weird that you all have actually enjoyed some of them. So I'd like to say a massive thank you for making me the happiest I've been in a while. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and you'll probably see me next time in the new year. Enjoy!

Dick woke up to the sight of snow fluttering down and light pouring into his room. This would be the first Christmas without his parents but he tried to stay optimistic. A lot had changed in his life since that day, some of it good and some of it bad. He rolled back in his bed and watched the snow for a while. A knock broke his staring match with the frozen fractals. "Master Richard, are you awake?" Alfred asked through the door.

"Yes Alfred," he answered. Alfred walked in and smiled at the boy who slightly smiled back. "Master Bruce has asked for you to come down. It appears there are a few visitors for you," Alfred told him with a smile. "Visitors?" Dick asked. He got out of bed and walked downstairs with the butler, who led him into the living room.

Inside was the tree Dick had decorated whilst Bruce was at work and underneath were presents upon presents, each wrapped in a bright wrapping paper. Bruce was talking to Diana and J'onn. "What are you guys doing here?" Dick asked. His eyes were wide with awe and excitement.

"Hi Dickie, you ready to open your presents?" Diana asked.

"You haven't answered the question," Dick answered with a smile.

"We don't have anywhere to go at Christmas so we decided to come here and visit our youngest hero," she explained. "Now come on, most of the League pitched in for these presents and I want to record you opening them for them." Dick grinned and went to the presents. After opening each one, Dick began trying to teach J'onn how to play Mario Kart. The alien kept thinking that the characters were alive and were forced into driving for them. It was still fun for him to play though and Dick seemed to be having a great time.

There was a knock on the door and more heroes came in. Barry had a bag of presents slung over his back whilst Oliver and Dinah had brought two small boxes. Roy and Wally laughed at the stark difference. "Hiya Dickie. We miss anything?" Roy asked. Dick got up, shaking his head, and hugged him as well as Wally. "Did Santa get you loads of presents?" Barry asked. Dick nodded and waited till he moved away. "He does know Santa isn't real right?" Dick whispered to Roy.

"You don't believe in Santa?" Wally asked in confusion. He didn't believe in Santa but surely Dick should. "Of course I don't. Mama and Tati never made me. You kinda figure it out when you move all over the world," Dick explained.

"Have you told Bruce that?" Roy asked which caused the younger to laugh. He shook his head and looked over to the heroes. "None of them know. It's quite funny really," he told them. "Come play Mario Kart with me. I don't think J'onn is going to be much of an opponent," he added.

After playing Mario Kart with varying success, they sat down to have Christmas dinner. Alfred had been cooking all day to put out the feast. "Hey, where are our presents, Dick?" Wally teased, elbowing the younger. "Wally don't tease him," Diana scolded.

"It's alright Mama Diana, he actually reminded me to go get them," he replied before running off.

"He just called me Mama Diana," she said breathlessly.

"It's not that big of a deal," Dinah replied, folding her arms. She was clearly upset she didn't get the title. "You know what that means," Roy started with a smile.

"What?" Barry asked.

"Dick sees Diana as his mum and he sees Bruce as his dad. So he sees you two as a couple," he answered. Diana laughed a little and looked to Bruce. "Well, that's only because...erm...we." Thankfully, he was saved by Dick coming down with a bag full of presents. "I didn't have any money but when I was in the circus I was taught how to whittle wood and paint the figurines," Dick said. He passed around small boxes to their owners and left one out for Alfred in the kitchen. If the butler was anywhere he'd be in the kitchen. He came back in and sat down with a grin. "I hope you like them." They all opened their boxes to see little wooden figurines of themselves which were beautifully painted and very detailed. "These are amazing," Barry stated. "How did you find the time to do all this?" Dick laughed a little.

"I'm taught by Alfred who just so happens to have put in wood shop as a lesson."

"You didn't have to get us anything," J'onn insisted as he marvelled at the small figure.

"Of course I did! You guys are like my new family. It was the least I could do."

They all ate and, all in all had a great time. Everyone went home at 11 pm and Alfred took Dick to bed. He said goodnight and left the young boy to go to sleep. As he was about to go to sleep, Dick noticed a figure at the end of his bed. He sat up quickly and saw that it wasn't just one figure, it was two. "Mama? Tati?" he asked quietly as to not cause alarm.

"Hi, sweetheart. We came to say Merry Christmas. We're so sorry we couldn't spend it with you," Mary said lovingly. They were both wearing their circus uniforms but fortunately, there were no blood stains on them. "It's fine Mama."

"We're so proud of you. We were so worried when you went to that prison but here you are, a hero that risks their life for others," John added scruffing Dick's hair.

"You are?"

"Of course we are. There is no mother more proud of their child than I am right now. I love you so much," she told him, hugging him tightly. John joined in. "Our little Robin," she muttered. Tears pooled in their eyes as they began to fade away. "We love you, Dickie, no matter what. Remember that," John told him. Dick nodded. He didn't want them to go away but he could tell that they had to. They didn't belong in the physical world as he did. "Is heaven fun?" he asked, feeling his mother's touch lighten. "It is but we don't expect to see you until you are old and have lived a life worth living. Don't get yourself killed my darling," Mary answered. He smiled.

"I wouldn't dream of it, Mama. I miss you both a lot," he said. Mary choked on a sob and smiled. "We miss you too. Goodbye Richard," she said with a smile.

"Good luck son," John added. They evaporated into thin air, leaving Dick silently crying.

Bruce came in after hearing Dick talking and sat down on his bed worriedly. "What's wrong?" he asked. He was confused as the boy had seemed so happy today. "Nothing. I just remembered Mama and Tati that's all," he replied. Bruce hugged him and felt him hug back. "Thank you, Bruce. Thank you so much."

"For what Dickie?" he asked.

"For looking after me and making this the best Christmas it ever could've been." Bruce let a single tear slip and smiled. "You're welcome and thank you. You've made this the best Christmas I've had in a while."

Merry Christmas Eve everyone and, if I don't see you till after New year's, happy new year you wonderful human beings!
