"You're not Alex," I stuttered. "Good observation," he snickered, slightly nodding at me. "Who are you?" I asked. "I'm Jace." "Okay then Jace, what's that?" I asked, pointing to the floor where the red stains were. "I'm assuming that it is blood?" he answered, shrugging his shoulders. "Ugh, where's Alex?" I asked impatiently. "How could I know such?" he slightly tilted his head to the side. "Because I fell asleep in his car and now I'm here with you all of a sudden, you must know something," I argued. The crook of his mouth moved up a bit: "Yeah, well. He's busy." "I don't care," I shook my head at him. "Pff," he chuckled at me. His chuckle kinda freaked me out and made me feel a sudden urge to leave immediately. "I'll just, uh, leave," I stammered, turning away from him.

I thought he would leave me alone, but he brought his arms around me firmly. "Leave and let down your lover? What a shame," he half whispered. "Why are you holding me like this?" I exclaimed, trying to keep my voice steady. He swallowed oddly but didn't let go. "Dude," I stuttered, pushing him away. He stared at me with what looked like lust in his eyes. "Well, damn, that scent," he said, clearing his throat. "Scent?" I frowned, taking a step back. His jaw tensed, just like Alex's had done several times. "Do you trust Alex?" he asked randomly, lowering his voice. "Yes, of course," I nodded. "Do you trust me?" he asked directly. I went silent, I mean, what can you answer to such? No, of course, I don't. He's a stranger to me that has done nothing but to creep me out. "You shouldn't," he continued. "I know, you're a stranger," I answered, observing his moves. "I wonder how he has done this for so many years," he muttered so unclearly that I barely heard what he said. "Done what?" I frowned once again. "Resisted you."
