Rosewood. Ah, Rosewood. Many kinds of wood can be considered Rosewoods, hence why this wood post is not going to follow the same format as the Madrone post. Rosewood - all Rosewoods - are renowned for their beauty, for their sheen, and color. They are also known to have some weight, which would give even a small wand of these woods a nice heft in their hand. Though when working powder and dust from the wood can be an inhalable irritant, they are nonetheless known for their beauty.
Added to this is what is shown of the Rosewood wand of Fleur Delacour. Fleur can use her wand on multiple occasions, and with it is a more than able Triwizard Champion, representing her school, and proving herself, if not the better of the other competitors, at least at their level. This suggests that, much like Rosewoods commonly shown value in the woodworking industry, it may be of some similar value among wandmakers, being an adaptable and beautiful wand wood, with a tendency toward temperamental cores (sometimes even calming them, given the reliability shown of Fleur's wand despite it's "temperamental" Veela core) and a tendency toward those with an inner beauty to match the outer. Naiad hair is also a good core to pair with this wand.
