"I've been gone for a day, but your still as annoying as ever, Bakabane" the petite blue-haired girl sighed, when I decided that teasing her might as well be the best way to welcome her back.
"Aw~ Didn't you miss me?" I smiled at her.
"I've had enough of the octopus, I don't need you asking me that as well" she deadpanned, heaving another sigh.
"How cold~" I feigned hurt, only earning an eye roll from the girl.
That's good, I thought. She's back to her usual self.
A few days ago, I could've sworn that the girl had been keeping a secret from everyone.
Her blue orbs gazed back at mine.
"What's with the new look, though?" I asked her, taking the girl's newly bought glasses.
"My eyes are failing me, give it back" she replied quite nonchalantly.
"Hm. It's probably due to your habit of playing games all night. Let's take a good look shall we~" I took a good look at her, peering closer, she then immediately pushed me away, successfully swiping them back.
"If you think about doing anything in school, I'll kill you" she warned, and I simply shrugged her off with a smirk.
"Karma---" she trailed off only to be cut off by a loud crash.
"What could that be?" I looked through the window, seeing as it caught everyone else's attention.
"It came from the shed, Kayano and Nagisa are in there, right?" Iroha turned to me as everyone immediately ran out to check.
As we all ran up to the area the explosion came from, we saw a beat up Nagisa staggering as he went outside. Isogai helped him up, holding unto him to support the male.
The octopus burst up from the ground, panting.
"Korosensei!".
"What in the world was that just now?".
A figure burst out of the roof. Green locks, and tentacles waving in the air. A familiar face in one of our uniforms.
Okuda and Iroha looked in realization.
"Kayano-san?" Kanzaki mumbled.
"What's with those tentacles?".
"Aw~ I can't believe I let him get away. I must've underestimated him" Kayano remarked as she stood on the roof and looked down at us.
Korosensei, who still looked shaken, asked, "Kayano-san, what in the world?".
"Sorry, Kaede Kayano's not my real name. I'm Aguri Yukimura's little sister" she looked at him coldly.
The octopus gave a sudden look of realization, before the midget continued.
"You understand now, don't you?" she said, "Murder".
Hara stared at her, after hearing the familiar name, "Yukimura... Eh?"
"It's no use crying over spilt milk. I have to reset" she told the octopus, "I'll try to kill you again, Korosensei. I'll let you know where beforehand.
"Now that I've fought you tentacle-to-tentacle, I know for sure" She opened the first few buttons of her blouse and loosened her tie, "I can definitely kill you as I am right now".
With that, the girl jumped away.
"Kayano..." I heard Iroha mutter the girl's name.
"Unthinkable. If she grew tentacles without any maintenance, she would have been under constant hellish pain. There's no way she could bear it without having it show on her face" Itona told us.
"She's that good of an actress..." the bluenette beside me remarked.
Maehara agreed, "Not only that, but she's Aguri Yukimura's little sister?".
Sugino wondered, "Isn't that our old homeroom teacher?".
Mimura looked through his phone, as if he found an answer.
"I thought I'd seen Kayano before somewhere. I remembered her after seeing her seeing her with her hair down and her harsher expression" he showed us a picture, "Do you remember Haruna Mase? The young acting prodigy who could easily take on any role. It's been awhile since she left the entertainment business, and her hair and personality are completely different, so I didn't notice...".
Iroha, Okuda and Kanzaki seemed bothered but, Nagisa had it worse than anyone.
I flicked Iroha's forehead, seeing as the girl looked like she was overthinking everything that was going on right now.
"It's bad to worry too much. You tend to do the craziest things when you do".

Iroha held her phone steady, so that we could watch the video of one of Haruna Mase's films together.
"Now that you mention it, that's definitely Kayano".
"Wow her expression and personality are completely different".
"No wonder she was able to hide her identity for almost a year".
Kayano was definitely smart, I'd give her that. To be able to hide her own intent, using numerous dummies and distractions to take the attention away from her, thanks to all these no one was suspicious of her. I'd say it was a skill but somehow---
"I don't think it's completly fake" Iroha told me, while everyone else still seemed distracted.
"She put up a great front, and was pretty tactical about it... she never got too close to anyone but--- I never sensed a lie from Kayano. She must've meant some stuff genuinely. It can't just be an act".
Iroha cared. I knew at least that.
"It seemed to me like she was fixated on something like revenge" she concluded. "I can't make up the reason why though"
"What makes me even more curious, is what it has to do with our teacher here" I averted Iroha's attention to Mimura's question.
"Korosensei, Kayano called you a murderer. What happened in the past?".
"We've built up trust with you for so long now, so we won't doubt you" Kimura assured him.
"But you have to tell us about your past" Kataoka insisted.
"If you don't, no one will be able to accept the current situation. That's what we're at right now" Isogai said.
That's right, if we were going to search for answers, we ought to ask about what happened from the target himself.
Just what had the octopus been hiding all this time?
"Very well" he agreed after a long period of silence. "I'll tell you everything about my past".
"But before that, Kayano-san is an important member of Class E. I will tell you when everyone in the class is gathered together" he added.
