I love it when the bell rings to signal the end of class. It's when I can finally escape the octopus' clutches.
"Hmmm~ Why is it only the guys who were asked to stay?" I wondered as Okuda, Kayano, Kanzaki and I walked home.
To be honest, Isogai's been acting weird, I could even feel the tension in the room when the girls went ahead to go home.
"Ah, they're probably talking about the sports festival" Kayano answered, to which we three gave her a curious look.
"Isn't that supposed to be discussed by the entire class?" Kanzaki asked.
"No," Kayano shook her head and explained, "their only discussing it partly. You see, Asano-kun found out that Isogai-kun has a part-time job. In the end, he managed to agree to turn a blind eye if Class E beats them in the pole-toppling in the athletics festival".
"Asano, huh" I muttered. Well if it's against Class E. Shu and his minions will definitely be intent on beating us. "It'll be hard".
"Ah, speaking of which, you two are pretty close friends, right, Iroha-chan?" Okuda turned to me.
"Well, rather than friends, we're more like childhood rivals. I got sick of the competition, though. That guy's always desperate to win" I told her.
"Ah, but, we'll still have fun during the athletics festival in our own way" Kayano beamed.
Ah right. We're required to attend the athletics festival. And to add salt to the wound, that octopus would most likely get his hands on anyone who dares to sit this out.

Today was the destined day that Isogai had to face. At the same time, it was also the day the whole class was dreading the actions of our teacher who acted like such a doting parent.
"So," I glared at Korosensei, "how come I'm joining the fetch race?". And of all things it just had to be that stupid human scavenger hunt.
"It's fine. It's fine~ I'm playing as well and there's Itona and Fuwa joining us~" Karma pat my back before I fixed my headband, tying it tightly.
Something gives me a bad feeling just with the thought of playing with this guy though, I thought, looking at the sports festival committee under the tent.
Kimura aced the 100M dash, Hara was unrivaled in the bread eating competition, Okano and Maehara managed the three-foot race, and even Kayano finished the obstacle race with ease.
Ah, I might let the class down at this rate.
"Good luck" Okuda told us before Kanzaki finished tying my hair up, cutting me off from my thoughts.
"You better get in position then" Kanzaki encouraged.
"Right" I sighed as I followed Fuwa and the others into the crowd.
「Here it is folks! Our last co-gender event!」some guy announced over the speakers.
「The envelopes are first come first serve so you better hurry! Please go to the finish line after finding your "item"」
Everyone made a run for it after the signal, it was even a miracle that I managed to take one. After opening it up, I read the so-called item.
A Short Guy
I let out a sigh of relief, this is easy enough, at least, I thought before running towards Nagisa.
"Nagisa, can you come with me?" I asked him, pulling him by the wrist.
"Sorry, I got dibs, princess~" Karma smirked as I finally noticed his presence.
「What's this?! Two people are vying for the same person」the commentator announced, most likely referring to us.
"W-wait a minute, is that even allowed?" Nagisa stammered as Karma and I continued our argument.
"He's mine first~" the red head demanded.
"Stop it Karma, I was first!" I exclaimed.
"Hm, what's this, Iroha-chan?~ Are you jealous? Well, in that case I can claim you as mine too" he remarked, successfully pissing me off if it weren't for the announcement.
「 Two End Class Students successfully make the first goal. Elite of our school, don't let them beat you!!!」
"Ack! Just give him to me" I shouted.
"No way, I'm taking him" he told me off stubbornly.
"Guys, you're going to dislocate my shoulders! Have you forgotten that you're on the same team?!" Nagisa got in between us, and it was then that Karma and I looked at each other and had an agreement.
If one of us won't give up, we might as well take him together.
「Two more people finished simultaneously」the commentator announced right after we finished the goal, meeting up with Fuwa and Itona.
"What were you guys supposed to get anyways?" Nagisa spoke up, also looking at the two people who finished earlier than us. "Fuwa-san, you got Korosensei to come with you, right?".
"Ah, mine was 'Someone Suspicious'" Fuwa explained showing us the piece of paper she got.
"It's hard to disagree with that" I agreed with her.
"What about you, Itona-kun?~" Karma turned to the other guy as he showed us his paper.
Someone With Pigtails, Itona's paper read. "I was supposed to take Nagisa, but seeing as you two were already fighting over him, I just got the nearest girl with pigtails" he said.
"I was pretty shocked" Nagisa commented, referring to how we forcefully latched unto him, earlier.
"Sorry" I chuckled sheepishly, to which Karma just smiled like he usually does.
"So, what did you two get?" Fuwa asked before we both gave them our papers.
"A Short Guy" Fuwa read mine out loud.
"An Androgynous Male" Itona read Karma's.
"Karma-kun, I understand Iroha-chan's but why did you have to choose me for this one?" Nagisa deadpanned and followed with a sigh.

As the day went by, the boys eventually had to deal pole-toppling activity, to which they miraculously won.
I sighed in relief after seeing the class victorious.
"I'll just grab a drink" I told Okuda as the boys started to exit the field.
"Okay, do you want me to come with you?" she asked, to which I just shook my head.
"I'll be quick" I assured her before walking off to the vending machines near the main building.
"Ichigo Milk or Coffee Milk...hmmm" I hummed, debating on what to get. (t/n: Strawberry)
"Hm, wouldn't be something like a sports drink be appropriate rather than strawberry milk?" A familiar voice told me.
"Geh. It's you, Shi-chan" I turned only to realize who it was.
"What kind of reaction is that?" He told me, following up with a sigh, "you're still as mean as ever, huh, Iroha-chan?".
"Dragged into most of the races, huh?" I asked as he just sat on the bench beside the machine, receiving a nod from the male.
I finally pressed the button, deciding on strawberry.
"By the way," he smirked, "Since when did you attend sports related events?".
"Shut up" I pouted, grabbing my drink, before sitting beside him. "Don't you even dare remind me".
"You mean remind you that, you totally skipped two years of athletics festivals, and even managed to skip out during the second half of the basketball game during the ball game tournament earlier this year?" He said, to which I ignored.
He was absolutely right. I was shit at sports.
Running, Parkour and Fighting was an exception. I always practiced running away. Somehow, I could manage as long I don't spend an entire day out in the sun. My stamina, when it comes to ball games and sports that included mobilization, though, could drain immediately to zero. I've joined the archery club, practiced Kendo and martial arts for awhile thanks to the fact that, I don't have to last too long during a match.
"Don't worry about it. It's just normal for a shut-in like you. Get some rest" he told me before waving off.
Ishikawa Hikaru. A guy that was from Class D. Even if his grades aren't too good, he manages to make it up thanks to his talent with sports. A jock, one can say. He's probably one of the few people coming from the main building, who knew my real attitude despite being oblivious to the offenses I committed, just like Asano.
