Yours Through Eternity

Yours Through Eternity

I'll be yours through eternity-

And as long as you'll be mine,

I'll cherish each moment I'll have with you,

Until the very end of time.

I'll smile at you, and you at me-

I'll remember each & every kiss-

I know I'm vulnerable, can't you see...

Without you my life would be amiss?

Without my heart would be broken,

Torn...lost... and dry,

Not even a smile would escape me,

But who am I to question why?

Who am I to muse over this?

Why do I love you; Do you love me?

Who am I to trust you, after all,

Why does one trust the sea?

But I do trust you; for that, I'll say

That we have a bond that is sure,

I'll never leave you, of that, I swear,

If you left, my soul would have no cure.

I love you deeply, heartbreakingly so,

You say you'll love me forever,

So keep this promise, remember it, Love,

So that my heart won't sever.
