Staying at Poe's mansion, one day, Edgar brings in a boxful of Yokomizo's stuff the police had found and failed to return to someone. He hands it to Mushitaro and they start to go through the old belongings of the author. Mushitarō finds an old notebook of Yokomizo's, he looks into it to find an unpublished murder mystery story. Ranpo outsmarted Yokomizo's scheme and manuscript before. But this mystery, it's like no other piece of writing before. As Mushitarō reads more of the manuscript, what's written becomes true. (Written post chapter 121, it starts from the time where Poe was first tasked to write a fake office for the agency.)
