Do I Hate You?

Do I hate you?

Does a smile creep upon

My face when you're hurt?

Does the sky fall down

On me when you're happy?

Does a spark of joy

Enter when you've made

A stupid choice?

Or does a ring fill me

Ears when I hear

You voice?

Do I have dreams

Of endangering you?

Do I cry all night

Because you hate me?

Do I cry when I know

That you love me so?

Or do I wish for a place

Where my heart can go?

Do I hate you?

Are emotions slowly

Telling me something?

Are my smiles and

Evil glares after you?

Are my silences,

Unspoken words,

Held back comments,

Not enough for you?

Or won't you ever realize

That I do love you?
