Chapter 45: Father Daughter

Wanda is getting ready for dinner with Bill. Wanda took a shower, puts on make-up, did her hair, put her shoes on, and put her dress on. Wanda goes to the mirror and looks at herself.

Wanda hears the doorbell ring and goes downstairs. She opens the door and sees that it is Bill.

Wanda says "Hey Bill."

Bill says "Hello Wanda. Are you ready to go?"

Wanda says "Yes."

Bill says "Let's go."

One Hour And Fifteen Minutes

They walk in the restaurant and wait for someone to show their table.

A worker comes to them and says "How are we this evening?"

Bill says "Good. We have a reservation under Bill Foster for two."

The worker says "Uh... Yes. Here you are Bill Foster. Follow me please."

Wanda and Bill follows the worker to their table. They arrived at the table and Bill and Wanda sits down.

The worker says "Someone will be with you in a bit."

Bill says "Thank you."

They both look at their menus and a waiter comes towards them.

The waiter says "Hello. My name is Rick and I will be your waiter for tonight. What can I get you to drink?"

Bill says "Wanda, you can go first."

Wanda says "Thank you. I will have a lemonade please."

Bill says "And I will have water please."

Rick says "Alright. I will be back with your drinks." And leaves.

Bill says "So, how is Vision?"

Wanda says "He is good."

Bill says "When does he come home?"

Wanda says "Tomorrow."

Rick comes back with their drinks and says "Here are your drinks."

He places the drinks on the table and says "Do you know what we want to eat?"

Wanda says "Yes. I will the caesar salad please."

Rick says "Okay. What would you like to eat sir?"

Bill says "I will have the steak, medium rare, with a house salad on the side."

Rick says "Alright. I will put your order in." And he takes the menus.

Bill says "How are the wedding plans so far?"

Wanda says "Good. Uh... We should be finished on Sunday."

Bill says "That's good. Ava and Destiny are really excited for you and Vision."

Wanda says "I've noticed. When we want wedding dress shopping, Ava found seven and Destiny found five."

Bill says "Oh wow."

Wanda says "Yeah."

Bill says "You must of been tired from trying on those dresses."

Wanda says "It was, but I found my dress."

Bill says "Oh good."

Wanda says "May I ask you a question?"

Bill says "Sure."

Wanda says "Why do you feel that Ava and Destiny are your daughters? Not to be mean and rude to you."

Bill says "Well, when I took Ava in when Shield went down. Destiny, her mother and I were married, but got a divorce because I worked to much. So, after the divorce, she met a guy and they got married and had Destiny. Destiny's parents died and I took her in like I did with Ava. And that's why they feel like that they're my daughters."

Wanda says "Wow."

Bill says "Yeah."

Wanda says "Do you feel like that I'm your daughter?"

Bill says "Of course. Destiny told me the story of your parents and brother and I felt bad for you. When we had lunch, that was when you felt like my daughter."

Wanda says "That's so sweet. Can I ask you one more thing?"

Bill says "Go ahead."

Wanda says "Will you give me away on my wedding day?"

Bill says "Of course I will."

Wanda says "Great."

Bill says "Under one condition."

Wanda says "What is it?"

Bill says "Call me dad."

Wanda says "Of course, dad."

They both smile at each other and their food came out.

An Hour Later

They leave the restaurant and go home. Bill drops Wanda off at home.

Bill says "Bye Wanda."

Wanda says "Bye dad."

Bill drives off to go home and Wanda unlocks the front door and goes inside and in the bedroom.
