•Sixty-three•

"Yeah, I've pretty much finished in here too" I replied as I sprayed and wiped the kitchen table.

"Shall I order us some Chinese?" Shawn asked as he took a seat at the kitchen table.

"Sure, I'll have my usual" I answered causing Shawn to raise his eyebrows as an amused smile played at his lips.

"And what's that?" Shawn chuckled.

For a second I forgot that Shawn didn't know what my usual was.

"Oh sorry" I laughed in embarrassment.

"Chicken fried rice and chicken balls please"

"What's the number?" Shawn asked as he got his phone out of his pocket.

Once I told him the number Shawn rung them up before ordering our food. They told Shawn that the food would be about twenty minutes, giving me plenty of time to quickly jump in the shower and get into something more comfy.

After finishing up in the shower I slipped into some black bed shorts before pulling a maroon hoodie over my head. Pulling my wet hair into a bun I didn't particularly care what I looked like, after all I'm pretty sure Shawn has seen me in an even worse state.

Going back downstairs I walked into the living room to see Shawn laying the coffee table with plates and drinks, ready for when our food arrived. Looking towards the tv I saw that he already had a film ready for us to watch, that film being Baywatch.

"This is that Zac Efron film you told me about right?" Shawn asked as he left the living room to grab something from the kitchen.

"Yeah, it's really good!" I replied, loud enough so he could hear me.

Sitting down on the sofa I readjusted the cushions behind me, so I was more comfortable, before pulling my legs up to the side of me.

"Did my mum call you today?" Shawn asled as he walked back into the room holding some sauces.

"Yeah, she called about the cake" I said as he placed them on the table, not bothering to sit down as the food would be here soon.

"What did you say you wanted?" Shawn questioned.

"Whatever you wanted" I replied, causing Shawn to laugh.

"That's what I said" he smirked as his hands went to his hips and his head tilted to the side.

"I guess it's just going to be a surprise for both of us then" I laughed.

Shawn just grinned like a dork before a knock then landed on the front door. Leaving the room Shawn grabbed our food before. After a couple minutes he walked in carrying the most delicious smelling food I've smelt in a while.

"God, this smells so good" Shawn gushed as he placed the boxes of our food on each of our plates.

"Thanks for getting this" I smiled as I began to take the lid off my rice.

Shawn returned a smile before leaning over to the table and grabbing the remote. Clicking play on the movie a comfortable silence settled in around us as we both began to tuck into our food.

Depriving my eyes open I gave myself sometime to adjust to the glare of the tv. Taking my hand to my face I rubbed my eyes before letting out a tired yawn.

Looking down Elle was fast asleep as her head rested on my chest, her petite body cuddled up against mine.

Tiredly smiling down at her I took my hand to her hair before softly brushing my fingers through her damp hair, which had fallen out of it's bun.

Taking my phone off the arm off the chair I squinted my eyes as I looked down at the time to see that it was late. I also had a missed call and text from Liam. Unlocking my phone I clicked onto the text before reading what it said.

There's a basketball training camp on all week from the 21st of October, if you're interested. Get back to me asap - Liam

Looking back down at Elle I debated on what I should respond with. Ofcourse I wanted to do it but the thought of leaving Elle all by herself, while she's pregnant, is what holds me back.

Settling on deciding to just reply to the text in the morning I turned my phone off before closing my eyes and trying to send myself back to sleep. While I layed with my eyes closed I continued to move my fingers through Elle's hair.

All I could think about was the thought of possibly leaving, the thought of possibly doing the one thing that I have always wanted to do.

Has anyone watched that movie After? I love it so much!
Also does anyone know anyone who can create a trailer for Devoted? I would love to have one!
