Civil War

Steve walks over sadly to his boyfriend, who is being prepped for the Cryofreeze therapy.

"So, I just got you back and now I'm losing you again, " Steve jokes, trying to distract himself from tearing up, but it only makes him worse.

Bucky chuckles and reaches in right arm up to Steve's face. Lightly stroking away the salty tear.

"I'll be back before you know it, " he says and smiles at him. Steve leans his forehead against his long lost love.

Bucky jumps back with a hum. "So, you remember how I proposed to you in like the '40s?" Bucky asks and Steve nods with a blush.

"Well, at the Smithsonian. They had your ring there, " Bucky explains as he reaches into his pocket, "And, I kinda sorta stole it, " Bucky chuckles nervously as Steve stares in awe at the ring.

"Marry me? Again?" Bucky asks and Steve can almost cry.

Steve regains his composure and nods frantically. "I love you, James, " Steve coos, "God, it still fits, " he says and Bucky tries to dry his cheeks.

"I love you too, " he says and kisses the blonde man in front of him.

"Sorry, to break up the moment. But we really have to get Sargent Barnes into the Cryochamber, " a girl with a thick Wakandan accent says with a smile as she fiddles with a laptop.

"When I get out. We can finally get married. No distractions. No war. Nothing. Just us, " Bucky says with a smile. Steve's smile is painted from cheek to cheek. Straight white teeth accenting pink lips.

"See you in a minute, " Bucky says and walks off to Shuri. Who checks his vitals and preps him for the chamber.

Steve watches as Bucky gets locked into the chamber, cold air crisping over the glass.

"He'll be back in no time, Captain Rogers, " Shuri assures as she places a small hand on his broad shoulder.

"Thank you, " he says with a small smile. "It's a pleasure. I'll give you a call when he wakes up, " Shuri instructs. Steve takes another look at the chamber.

"If you keep on worrying about him, you'll hurt yourself, " she chuckles and sends him off. Steve walks his way back to the Quinjet, setting off into the air, not without taking a quick look back.

Shuri leads Steve into an area of small huts and green hills with small goat hopping around.

She chuckles as Steve looks around not knowing why he was here. "Are you messing with that man again?" She asks and a group of small Wakandan children coming running out, speeding past the Captain.

Steve pauses dead in his tracks when he seeing Bucky dressed in the local clothes and his long hair tied back into a bun. He looked around surprised and knowledge-hungry.
