One: The friendship

"You know~ I think of our children should meet!" Jungkook's mother, Jeon Seoyun speaks as Taehyung's mother, Kim Minhye nods

"Of course~ rich families should bond more! Hahaha~" The two lets out a laugh- a laugh of fakeness, and was almost obvious.

The two families weren't always in good terms. Taehyung's mom started a rumor about Jungkook's mom having an affair to her own husband- which led a big problem between them but instead handled it professionally due to the cameras all around them.

"Alright. I'm sure my alpha boy is ready to meet your alpha son Minhye." Seoyun says as the woman frowned, it hurts her pride to say that her son was an omega. But her son was intelligent, grew up like a man he should be. That's the only thing that kept him from his parent's home.

"Taehyung/Jungkook!! Come here!" Their moms called out, followed by two boys who came out from seperated directions

"Minhye, meet my alpha son-- Jeon Jungkook." She smiles, proudly caressing the male's brown locks who chuckled and bowed respectfully at Minhye, his ears perked up in alert

"Well, meet my son, Kim Taehyung." Minhye says blankly with a forced smile on her face. There quietly stood the blonde haired boy, with ears flopped down as he bowed down respectfully

"Is he an alpha too?" Seoyun says as she lookef at Taehyung carefully from head to toe

"Well," Minhye starts, looking at his son with the eyes of disappointment

Taehyung looked down, tears welling up as cute doe eyes as he tried not to cry. The way his own mother gave him the look of disappointment never fails to make him feel very insecure about himself.

"He's a beta." Minhye smiles as she pats her son's head gently, looking back at the two guests who listened to her carefully

"Ah, I get it." Seoyun smiles back, both again laughing in a fake way

Jungkook, however furrows his eyebrows-- not believing his mother at all. But who is he to judge? After all he's just a new kid that recently moved next door.

"Why don't you both get to know each other? Taehyung, go play with him at the garden. Me and his mom will be here if you need us." Minhye says before sipping on her tea, whilst Taehyung agreed and led Jungkook to their large garden at the back of their mansion

"Woah.." Jungkook sighs in amusement, the garden was so healthy- just like theirs, but it was more pleasant and relaxing compared to the one he owned

Taehyung smiles, he knew he had just gained a friend. A new friend to be exact. The one who recognizes him as beta.

"So uhm.. How old are you?" The blonde tries to open up a conversation, sitting on the grass with Jungkook following after a few moments

"I'm 14 years old! How about you?" Jungkook asks rather in an excited way, happy to gain a new friend also as his mom only chose the best for him.

"Oh! I'm 16! I'm your hyung then." Taehyung chuckles, smiling at the younger boy who was fixing his coconut hair

"Yes hyung! I'm a pure blood alpha tho! My eomma and appa are both alphas and thats what they also told me." Jungkook explains, wanting to let Taehyung know his own backstory

The blonde's breath hitched, not knowing on what should he explain. His mom introduced him as beta, so he needs to cover his life with a beta one.

"Oh uhm.. I'm a beta, and I don't really know about how I was born, I don't wanna hear disgusting stuff." Taehyung chuckles as Jungkook smiles

"Thats okay!" The brown haired male says with a kind smile, "I would still love to make you a friend of mine."

"Really?" Taehyung says with a smile, squealing in happiness as the bou cutely nodded his head

"Ofcourse! But.." Jungkook hums, leaning close to him to which the blonde was alert and confused about

"W-wait what are you.." He was about to ask but kept his mouth shut when he finally got what Jungkook wad about to do

Sniff.. Sniff..

"Hmm." Jungkook pulls away, his head tilting to the side slightly indicating that he was confused

"Why can't I smell your beta scent hyung?" He asks as Taehyung's heart started to beat fast, gulping as he went on panic mode

If he says he uses this anti-scent soap his mom gave him, he's screwed. It's only for omegas.

"Ah! It's because.." Taehyung starts. His mind was brainstorming on what to say. 'Think of a lie Taehyung, think!'

"Because..?" Jungkook followed his trail, eyeing him in confusion with a small growing hint of suspicion

"We're still young!" Taehyung finally says, his eyes widening in his lie as he tried to make Jungkook believe him

"What?" The alpha wolf male asks, furrowing his eyebrows again as Taehyung hummed

"Momma said that if we turn to our legal age-- or shall I say 18 years old and above, we will finally smell scents! I can't even smell you tho!" He explains as he checks on Jungkook's reaction

"Ohh! I get it! That's why I can't smell you!" Jungkook says while smiling wide, counting with his fingers after

"Four years! I have to wait for the final year that I can smell you! I'm so curious!" Jungkook pouts as he sighs, laying down the grass before rolling around

"Two years for me kookie! Then I can smell you! It's just fair that you smell like soap." Taehyung chuckles-- he can clearly smell the alpha's scent. But he couldn't really give words to it yet-- he doesn't know how to explain the smell.

"That's unfair that you're close to smelling mee!" Jungkook giggles as he eventually sat up, feeling playful as he lunged at the poor and surprised omega boy who was now pinned on the ground

"Yah!" Taehyung squeaks, blushing as he gulped, Jungkook was sitting on his lap carefully, with a playful grin on his thin lips as he squished Taehyung's cheeks

"Let's be friends forever!" Jungkook says with his bunny smile-- to which gave irony to Taehyung since he was an pure alpha wolf breed

"Yes." Taehyung says with his box smile

"Promise?" He adds, giggling as he rose his pinky finger, with Jungkook gladly interwining his own

"Promise."
