Isabella ran beside her family through the trees at top speed, all around them were the Volturi, hundreds of members frantically chasing their queen. Soon they reached the castle and everyone scattered. Caius led the way up many flights of stairs to a large open corridor. Bella looked around in wonder at how extravagant it all was and a door was pushed open to reveal a beautiful bedroom. It seemed that her sister was being incredibly well looked after and she was glad. Carlisle furiously shoved everyone out of the room as he softly placed Attarah on the sheets. The kings did not go quietly. 

"Just get out" a gorgeous ginger fumed, Bella remembered her as Vanessa, she had come with Attarah when she visited Forks. She was the mate of Alec. Everyone was surprised to find that they actually listened and people were slumped in the hallway waiting. Bella had come to Volturi with her entire family except Renesmee who she left in the care of her father and Jacob. She knew her daughter would be safe.

All of the Cullens along with the entire upper guard, the kings and a few females waited outside patiently in most cases. They all trusted Carlisle. Bella noticed a tall thin gentlemen in the corner being hugged by a shuddering human who had tears falling from her eyes. She was beautiful and tanned with incredibly dark hair. The way they clung to one another indicated that they were mates. Edward had his hand placed gently on her shoulder as they waited. Carlisle ushered the crying tanned girl and the ginger into the room, stating that he needed them to clean her as she was covered in layers of grime. The two were the closest ones to her except the Kings who paced furiously. It was a wonder they didn't burn holes in the carpet.

"Masters" Felix stated as he joined them in the hallway, all three kings snapped their heads to look at the large man who didn't seem to be freaked out by their deranged expressions as much as Bella expected. "We have located them" he stated "They have been placed in the dungeons until they can be dealt with" he stated and Demetri nodded at him as he came up beside them.

"How is she?" Demetri asked with a worried expression. It shocked all of the Cullens to see how concerned everyone was about her. It was odd to see the Volturi expressing true, raw emotions.

"We haven't really been told much yet Demi" a vampire stated from the corner, Bella was fairly certain it was Chelsea but she had never really met the guards properly. Felix placed a reassuring arm around the tracker and the Cullens were shocked to see him lean into the big vampires arms. The coven had many secrets, that was for sure, Emmett was buzzing at the possibility of discovering them all. When the dark haired human next emerged and ran into the arms of George, Bella couldn't help but think of what hypocrites the Volturi were. They had hundreds of human servants and they themselves had a human mate.

After what felt like hours, Carlisle emerged from the bedroom with a smile on his face. "She is going to be okay. I have patched her up as best I can, the main concern is the lack of nutrition she received and the exposure to the elements. She is currently exhausted so I think it best to let her sleep." Carlisle directed, mostly to the vampire kings who visibly relaxed. 

"Thank you Carlisle, you and your coven are welcome to stay here in the castle for as long as you wish. I am not sure how we can repay you" Aro informed the good doctor who merely smiled and waved it off. "Is it okay for us to go in and see her?" 

"It is but I wouldn't suggest all crowding in at once. And please try not to wake her, she needs rest." The Cullen informed and everyone nodded before chatting lowly amongst themselves. 

"Heidi, would you do me the honour of showing the Cullens to the next floor to some guest bedrooms? I am sure they would like to freshen up from their travels" Marcus posed gently like a question to a guard and she nodded quickly in acceptance before beginning to show them the way. She was utterly gorgeous, like a brunette Rosalie and Bella was envious but did not show it. She vowed to return to see her sister very shortly. She was so grateful that they had found her when they did, lord knows how long she would've survived if they hadn't. 

"She's okay now" Edward whispered to his wife as they entered their designated bedroom, it was of course utterly gorgeous. Bella was surprised by how homely it felt, she expected it to be all dark and dreary within, she didn't think that it would be so light and warm. Perhaps the heating being on had something to do with Attarah. Bella didn't doubt that the kings would do anything for the human.

"How did this happen Edward?? is it safe for her here now?" Bella wondered, guilt washing over her as she realised that in someway she was responsible for her sister being in her current position. Bella had allowed the Volturi to take her and bring her here. She had only wanted her sister to find happiness like she herself had with Edward but she should have known better, she knew what the Volturi were like and she greatly feared them. She would never forgive herself for so easily handing her sister away.

"She is safe, they have captured the wives and they will die painful deaths for this. I heard that they have already unleashed Jane on them. It is only a matter of time and I doubt the kings will ever let her out of their sights again after this."
