Attarah awoke with a groan, stretching out in the bed beneath the sheets and frowning at the room around her before she recognized her as her own house. She had stayed there the previous night with her mates and her little puppy Tori who was currently tucked up beside her.
The brunette female dragged herself out of bed slowly and made her way to the shower, she wasn't ready for the night ahead, the entire Volturi guard, including some servants and the Kings along with herself were heading in to a nearby town to celebrate the upcoming new year, however she was sure that the event would somehow manage to end in disaster, everyone else was excited and that was all that mattered.
The human quickly showered and got dressed, exiting her bedroom not even twenty minutes later smelling like gorgeous lavender. In the kitchen was where she found her mates, all chatting quietly about something unknown. They were soon to return to the castle because there was a lot of work for them to do.
"Good morning Darling" Aro grinned and pressed a kiss to her temple, she returned the cute gesture, kissing him on the only place she could readily reach without stretching, his chin. He chuckled and produced a breakfast they had prepared for her, it was a simple bowl of cereal but they were happy.
It had felt like such a utopia recently, despite a small spat with Caius over jealousy, nothing bad had happened. When she considered it, throughout most of her time in Italy, it had been perfect and she was so happy about that fact.
"Are you excited about tonight?" Marcus wondered aloud as he took up a position beside her and watched her eat, she had long since gotten over being uncomfortable whilst being stared at eating, they did it so much that she no longer noticed it.
"I am not sure, it certainly will be interesting" she stated, thinking about all of the possibilities the night could potentially bring. "Are you excited?"
"I am, it has been a long time since we have been out...partying as such. In fact, I am not certain we ever truly have" Caius pondered, thinking about it carefully.
"Are you guys going to get drunk?" She winked jokingly.
"It takes a lot to make us drunk Attarah darling" Aro reminded.
