Chapter 108 - Boxing Day

Attarah was standing in the laundry room with a few other women, she was helping them with the washing. She had nothing else to do and it felt wrong allowing them to clean her clothes every day without help. She knew they received money for it but she felt rude.
The brunette girl headed out of the small dusty room with a grey basket under her arm, she had insisted. The girl headed up the long spiraling stairwell to the Kings corridor. She sincerely considered asking the kings to install an elevator but came to the conclusion that she wouldn't be a human forever and as a human, she needed the exercise. Her little puppy, Tori chased her up the stairs and she entered the bedroom of Caius first. Within his wardrobe she placed his underwear into the designated drawers and hung his shirts neatly into his wardrobe on matching hangers.
Attarah finally finished and made her way all the way downstairs once more, one arm held the tiny chocolate brown Labrador puppy and the other contained a little red ball for them to play with. In the garden, Attarah threw the little ball down the cobbled garden path. the then placed Tori on the ground allowing him to run after it.
After a few rounds of the game, she was glad of what she was wearing as it was becoming freezing cold. She wore black trousers with a belt, a white shirt with no sleeves and a black ribbon tied in a bow. On her feet the little human had white shoes and her wrist contained a posh watched. Thankfully, she also wore a thick dark grey winter coat over the top and she was glad she did but unfortunately, her hands were getting cold (and slobbery) due to their activities.
