Attarah had spent the rest of the night in Marcus' arms, tears trickling down her cheeks though she said nothing when they asked. As the sun rose, the kings quickly became worried about the girl who'd been so happy the previous day but was currently sad.

"What did you dream about?" Marcus finally asked and received glares from the other two kings, all night they'd been procrastinating asking that question but Marcus wasn't afraid.

"She killed you" Attarah informed and tucked her head further into his chest, they were the first words she'd spoken all day and they were shocked.

"Who Tara?"

"Bella" she sobbed and hugged Marcus tighter as her nightmare flashed through her brain, it was horrible.

The kings exchanged glances at her words, was she foreshadowing a possible future throughout her dreams? At one point the Volturi had to travel to Forks to dispel alleged rumours of an immortal child...surely Bella wouldn't have the power to kill them?

"Hey, look at me" Caius ushered and she looked up slowly, tears still falling. "Tomorrow, you leave to go on holiday with Marcus, how does that sound?" He smiled and she returned it somewhat happily with a nod.

"Do you need to go to work?" She asked as her bottom lip quivered ever so slightly, the kings exchanged glances before looking at her solemnly.

"I'm afraid so" Aro sighed and stood, kissing her forehead "we'll visit you soon, it's just one trial and then we can spend the entire day with you?" She perked up at his words and nodded, kneeling and kissing him gently before bidding the others farewell and following them out, heading in the opposite direction to them, to her room.

Arriving in her bedroom, she quickly located Miranda and was bathed quickly before being pushed to sit at the vanity with a smirking Miranda standing directly behind her.

"Why are you making that face?" The future Queen demanded gently and Miranda looked up.

"Marcus is taking you in holiday tomorrow and he told me where to but I'm not going to tell you, everything you need is already packed." She smiled happily with a bubbly expression.

"You are way too happy about that" Attarah commented.

"I know" the handmaiden piped and stepped back "all done." Standing, Attarah made her way to the mirror, avoiding standing on the waves of fabric.

Adorning her body, Attarah wore a long pink gown that flowed from her waist in petal frills, a pair of glittery stiletto heels adorning her petite feet, tied with ribbons and an equally pink crystal hanging from a chain at her neck.

Her hair had been piled up and plaited with multiple flowers and she considered the entire combination gorgeous, for the first time she felt content with herself and not attempting to be vain, she felt pretty.

"So now what's the plan?" Attarah questioned, unsure of what her day was due to consist of so turning to her handmaiden for aid.

"I'm sorry, your grace, today is my half day, I leave in twenty minutes" the women informed  nervously.

"That's okay, go and have fun, leave now" the future Queen gestured toward the door with a gentle smile as she watched her friend leave.

"Thank you Attarah" she vaguely registered as her only friend disappeared. After pondering for a few moments, Attarah began to walk the corridors in search of an activity of any sorts though she found not a single guard member.

Even the lowest ranking members were nowhere in sighed though she paid little mind to it, quickly locating the library and sitting on one plush couch.

Silence filled every crevice of the castle as Attarah sat reading within the library, books splayed along the coffee table directly before her. As she read she reflected, the words of the book slipping from her mind only seconds after she read them.

Her life had changed rather abruptly since she moved, she loved three men. Until that moment she hadn't truly thought about such a prosperity. How was it possible to love three? How would weddings work? Would she have three? Or none at all?

The thought of having no wedding upset her greatly, since childhood she'd wished for a wedding, as if it solidified love. Renee disliked her and so she felt the need to make up for that missing love in the right way, what was the right way?

Suddenly, she no longer wished for a wedding, if she could be with them forever why did she need a wedding?

Another unfortunate thought that struck her was how quickly they were going to forget about her, was she a play thing until they found better? Why would they want an average human? Did they want her only to anger the Cullen's? It surely didn't work.

The more she thought these thoughts, the further they expanded, one forming into another until her dream hit her and linked to reality, the reality that Bella hated her for going to the volturi. Attarah had never been one which was good with silence, that was why she was allegedly so chatty, she needed to fill the silence to escape her own thoughts.

The horrific idea that her family hated her came to mind, what if Bella resented her for leaving? The Cullen's' would surely follow suit. And what if she never gave charlie a good explanation and in short, he resented her also?

The volturi didn't particularly enjoy her company as she was a mere human and what if her nightmares about her mates came true and they left her? She would have no place to go and no people to live with, she'd be all alone.

"Attarah?"
