Chapter 103 - Late nights and Christmas lights

Attarah yawned as she opened her eyes, she'd fallen asleep lent against Marcus' shoulder. She had awoken early to go shopping with the Kings, all of which decided that it was necessary to go shopping to somewhere further afield than the nearby town as the guards had already seen all there was to be seen in the town. She was bored and cold. She wish she'd worn something different.
The small female currently wore a cropped white jumper, striped black and white paper bag trousers, white shoes black scarf and a grey coat. On her small hands were black mittens and she had a hat somewhere but she didn't wear it because she didn't want to look silly considering all the kings were sat feeling warm as ever.

"Hello darling" Marcus smiled and kissed her forehead with his chilly lips, sending a shiver through her. Caius frowned from the front drivers seat. He always seemed to be the one driving and Attarah presumed it was because he would get far to bored sat doing nothing. Caius leant over and switched on the in car heating . He hadn't felt the car to be cold but now regretted that as her lips quivered. It was usually nippy.
It took another half an hour for them to finally reach their destination and when Attarah finally exited the car, she squatted slightly to stretch her legs and clicked her back, having sat in the car for a long time. Yawning loudly, she clapped and followed the chuckling Kings through a alley to a long winding street lined with shops. She was so bored of shopping that she stood quietly throughout the entire experience.
They picked the most bizarre gifts for the female guards, clearly not sure what they wanted and resulting to jumpers and shoes that Attarah was sure were against the dress code anyway. When the time came that they finally left the shopping and headed for a cafe, she was hungry and happy.
It took her only a few minutes to eat all of the chicken nuggets in the plate and finish her strawberry milkshake. When she was all done, she beamed happily up at them. Glad that that meant that she could finally go home.

Attarah smiled as she finished wrapping Renesmees Christmas present, it was a gorgeous dress she had made, after checking and rechecking with Carlisle that it would fit her. She had finally finished wrapping all the presents perfectly neatly. Charlie had always been the one to make her wrap the presents and she prided herself on how good they were.
She placed it gently on a pile and smiled as she looked around the room, Caius was finished wrapping his pile of presents and Marcus was on his last one whilst Aro struggled to hold the paper, earning loud laughs from the blond King.
Attarah but down an some biscuit and giggled. "Christmas is the time of food." everyone smiled at her.

Attarah smiled over at Caius who sat in the divers seat, one of their hands locked whilst her other held onto the warm cup of hot chocolate. The blond king was taking her for a drive around the town to see all the Christmas lights as she grinned at every house they passed with a childish fascination. She was obsessed and Caius found it adorable.
The pair continued to drive around for an hour until her hot chocolate had run out and the biscuits were all gone. That is when they came to an end and decided to head back home. She smiled happily at him as she snuggled up into the now warm leather and headed back to the house.
When they walked into Attarahs bedroom, it was to find the other two Kings on the sofa facing the TV and freshly ordered Chinese food scattered across the small coffee table. She smiled happily at them. It had been a very good day.
