138 "Right place & right time"

Right place and Right time

"Nagmumura ako in real life pero hindi naman ako iskwater. The last time I checked, marami pa naman kaming lupang pinapaupahan and I believe, I am living in our own property so there's no any way to call me living in a slum. Hindi nag mumura ang parents ko. Di rin naman nila ako tinuruang mag mura so don't put the blame on them. Graduate naman ako ng college, in fact psychology pa ang course ko so you don't have the right to judge me that I am uneducated. Though, I am aware that cursing is a sin but well, we are all sinners.

Naalala ko nung grade 2 ako, sinampal ako ng nanay ko nung narinig niyang nag salita ako ng "G**o" eh narinig ko lang naman sa TV yun. Tsk. Environment and media are the main causes of everything. There's nothing wrong in swearing if expressing obscenities is the only way to relieve the emotional pain inside your chest or the physical pain, then do it. Read "Hypoalgesic effect of Swearing" by Richard Stephens. In this study the researcher stated that swearing can lessen any pain. Stephens also ended up with an observation that cursing isn't directly linked to intellect. Just a reminder for those judgmental peeps out there that think people who always swear are ignorant.

Cursing is the best coping mechanism. Depression, rejections and other feelings of grievances cursing can make us feel better. Wag rin paganahin ang gender discrimination na pag babae masamang babae agad pero pag lalake astig. Anong kash*tan yun? Pero kung iisipin, pangit nga namang tignan sa babae. Medyo refrain lang tayo girls lalo na sa public places. Pang private interpersonal conversation lang tayo. Normal ang pagmumura mapa presidente, prime-minister, mapa mahirap o pinaka mayaman lalo na sa pinoy. Sa comment section palang eh.

Sa sobrang galit, imbis na patayin mo yung taong nam-provoke sayo mumurahin mo nalang ng "P*+*#G *#% mo!" Mga ganung instance. Mabait ka pa nga nun eh kasi hindi ka nanakit. Atleast di mo siya sinapak o ginripuhan sa tagiliran, diba? Pag sobrang saya mo naman mapapa P*+*#G *#% ka nalang. Kapag nagulat ka mapapa P*+*#G *#% ka nalang. Kapag brokenhearted ka mapapa P*+*#G *#% ka nalang din. Pag pinansin ka ng crush mo mapapa P*+*#G *#% ka nalang din sa kilig. Mapa "P" or mapa "FYou" or "MF" iykwim, englishin man o hindi mura parin, pinasosyal lang para sa mga elitista.

But if you don't know how to express it in a right place and in a right time, that's the time that you will look like uneducated because you obviously did not use your mind before you speak. That's the most important thing to remember. Right place, alangan namang mag mura ka sa simbahan o harap ng hapag kainan? Magmura ng pagka lakas lakas sa public places na may kasamang halakhak gaya ng PUVs o LRT. Lagi ring idepende sa mga taong makakarinig gaya ng mga bata para di ka gayahin at magulang para di masermonan. Pag di mo talaga kaya, pwede mo namang ibulong sa sarili mo gaya ng madalas mong ginagawa pag di mo magets yung exam niyo sa Statistics o Algebra. "P*+*#G *#% ano to?" diba. Again, right place, right time."

PS: This post is not mine. I just want to share it with you guys and just wanna add something.. In ateneo bihira ang nag mumura ng P.I pero f*ck marami. The thing is, mura parin yun.
