Violet Bloom sat on her case,
and looked around her space
stretching far and wide
to every side.
She saw the children playing,
and water splaying.
She saw dogs barking,
and taxis parking.
She saw old men reading,
and mothers feeding.
She saw fathers sailing,
and people mailing.
Violet Bloom sat on her case,
her gaze wandering about her space,
searching for her free place
against a timeless race.
- This was a totally random poem I wrote when I was 13. All I can say is, Violet Bloom was sort of inspired by Violet Beauregarde from Lemony Snicket's "A Series of Unfortunate Events".
