Anyway!

This was heavily inspired by the new anime Komi Can't Communicate. I like it-

Wyoming had a very hard time speaking to people. Anyone that wasn't his father that is. His mother had died due to contracting the flu. She loved his voice and wanted him to speak with others and make a friend as her dying wish. He had a very hard time figuring out how he could pull that off.

Every time someone attempted to speak to him he would freeze up and stare at them.

Despite that a lot of girls and one guy liked him. The boy's name was Comoac Breathnatch.

Comoac was from Ireland and couldn't bring himself to speak to Wyoming at all. He was also worried about what others would say about him crushing on a boy in a time only states and countries could.

Wyoming never liked anyone like that in his town. But Comoac was really nice and he did really wanna be his friend.

However, his father quickly figured out how nervous his son was when speaking with others and tried helping him. He could read him like a book. And he also knew for a fact he was a state.

His dad decided it's best to go to DC. To confirm his suspicions.

When Wyoming met DC it was sort of love at first sight. His father totally knew-

DC had attempted to talk to him but he was dying. He was a small teen, not even average height for being 18 at the time.

DC was told by his father about his issues with speaking to strangers. So he gave him some paper to write on.

He didn't lol. He chickened out and sped away quickly.

Accidentally ran into other states who tried speaking to him but didn't work.

DC and his dad did eventually find him hiding in DC's office under his desk.

His dad apologized profusely about that. And sort of told him why they were here.

Wyoming clung to his father's arm the entire conversation. And then later tests of strength and smarts proved he was indeed a state. His face was beat red.

He was later able to prove he was indeed a soon-to-be state. But the hard part was teaching him how to speak in front of others.

He spoke in front of his dad fine, DC not so much. Rhode Island he said one word to and couldn't continue. He said "Hello." And Virginia he couldn't get anything out. He was scary-

He could kind of speak to Indiana and Ohio. Only saying one word to both of them. And he and Wisconsin had one thing in common. They were both unable to say anything.

In Wisconsin's defense. He wasn't that good with new people either.

It took Wyoming about two years to say more than one word to people. And even longer to actually say multiple sentences.

His first friend ever was Idaho. Potato kid talked a lot about a lot of different subjects. Wyoming was the first to listen to what he had to say. Even throwing in a few words of his own when he finally got more comfortable being around him.

He was a little younger than him but still enjoyed his company.

He was also the first to help him with one of his dreams. Go to a cafe. Idaho asked him what he wanted then he went and ordered for the both of them.

He was a little upset when he became good friends with Montana. But then he became his friend too. And he was kinda happy about that. Still unsure of how to properly speak to him but Idaho helped him out.

Even now he still struggles speaking with new people. But is a lot better, and is proud of that.

And thinks his parents would be too.

(I haven't thought of a human name for him yet-)

Bai bai :)

I might write about this I dunno-

(Also minus this lil' extra bit this is a total of 666 words. Nice.)
