(Nandini moved towards kitchen and manik hesitatingly moved towards his father who is watching cricket and sat beside him.) (Manik's dad sensing some presence look beside and saw manik there and immediately closed TV and straightened himself and asked him being hesitant.)
M's Dad: Beta tu kab aya? (Manik spoke hesitantly.)
M: Ji bas thodi der pehle.. (Manik's father tried to initiate a normal conversation.)
M's Dad: Friends ke saath enjoy kiya?
M: Ji..
M's Dad: Umm.. Aur sab kaise chal raha hai?
M: Ji.. sab thk hai.. (Manik gathered his strength and asked him.)
M: Umm.. Ap bataiye? (Manik's dad smiled seeing him taking an initiative and spoke.)
M's Dad: Haan.. sab thk hai..
M's Dad: Vo.. vo.. aj match aa rah hai.. dekhega?
M: Ji.. (Both started watching match and got engrossed in it and being excited started talking like friends.)
M's Dad: Dekhna ye catch toh virat hi karega..
M: Mujhe nhi lagta ye ho payega..
M's Dad: Lagi sharat...
M: Lagi.. (Manik lost the bet.)
M: Kya yr.. (Manik's father spoke being excited later realising what he spoke but manik immediately turned the situation.)
M's Dad: Dekha bachoo.. baap hoon main tera... baap-baap hota hai aur beta-beta.. umm.. vo.. vo..
M: Vo ek aur catch out ho gaya.. (Both again got engrossed in watching the match.)
M's Dad: Mujhe lagta hai india hi match jeetegi..
M: Yes dad you are right.. we are winning..
M: Yeah dad.. we won.. we won.. yeah.. yippee... (Manik didn't realised what he spoke in excitement but raj got silent hearing him and then manik realised and spoke.)
M: Vo.. vo.. I am sorry.. vo.. (Manik's father spoke emotionally.)
M's Dad: Ek baar fir dad bol na? Pls... (Though it's not first time he is saying dad but it's first time he is saying it emotionally while having a normal conversation with his father and it's first time when his father is realising the imortance of that word.) (Manik gathered his courage and turned towards his father and spoke with tears in his eyes.)
M: Dad.. (Manik's father hugged him who hugged him back and spoke with tears in his eyes.)
M's Dad: I am sorry.. I am sorry.. maaf kade apne dad ko.. maine bhut galat kia tere saath.. please maaf karde mujhe.. (Manik spoke being in tears.)
M: Nhi dad ap sorry mat boliye.. galti meri bhi hai.. main ye samajh hi nhi paya ki unn sab mein bhi apka pyaar hi tha.. apka pyaar jatane ka tareeka alag tha par apne humesha dhyan rakha mera.. dur se hi sahi but you made sure ki I am comfortable.. I am sorry maine apko galat samjha..
M's Dad: Nhi manik.. galti teri nhi hai.. galti meri thi.. yes.. I tried to give you every comfort par main ye bhul gaya ki tujhe paise se zyada meri zarurat hai.. tujhe materialistic comfort se zyada baap ke support ki.. baap ke pyaar ki zarurat hai.. I am sorry.. Agar nandini mujhe na samjhaati toh shayad main apni galti kabhi samajh hi nhi pata.. I am sorry.. (Both broke the hug and spoke.)
M: Nhi dad.. it's okay.. galti meri bhi hai.. mujhe bhi angel ne hi samjhaya..
M's Dad: I am sorry..
M: Nhi dad.. don't say sorry.. ab purani sari baatein bhul jaiye.. ek nayi shuruwaat karte hain..
M's Dad: Haan.. Thanku beta... I love you.. (Both hugged each other again and this time happily.)

M's Dad: I missed you too mera beta.. I missed you too.. (Both broke the hug and then started talking about anything and everything sharing a comfort level with each other.) (Nandini saw all this from distance and smiled widely and then entered in the kitchen.)
IN THE KITCHEN:
(Nandini was doing her work when nyonika entered, so nandini asked her.)
N: Aunty kuch chahiye apko... (Nyonika spoke being hesitant.)
NY: Haan vo..
N: Bataiye.. (Nyonika spoke nervously.)
NY: Vo main soch rahi thi manik ke liye kuch bana doon.. (Nandini smiled and spoke.)
N: Ji aunty zarur.. ap hi ki kitchen hai.. aaiye na..
NY: Vo..
N: Kya huya aunty?
NY: Vo.. mujhe kuch banana nhi aata.. I mean main kabhi kitchen mein gayi hi nhi.. toh kya tum meri help kar dogi..
N: Zarur aunty.. Ap bas bataiye kya banana hai.. Main samaan nikal deti hoon.. And then I'll cook.. (Nyonika spoke determinedly.)
NY: Nhi main khud banana chahti hoon.. tum bas mujhe batati raho ki kaise banana hai aur dekhti raho ki main thk kar rahi hoon na.. (Nandini smiled and agreed.)
N: Ji.. (Then she gave nyonika all the ingredients and told her how to cook and nyonika prepared the halwa with nandini's guidance.)
(Then nandini went to call manik.)
IN DRAWING ROOM:
(Nandini went to call manik and stood there not knowing how to tell manik.. she was somewhat nervous about manik's reaction. Earlier also, Manik was somewhat normal with his dad but with nyonika, he is totally lost. The gap is lot more wide between manik and nyonika. Nandini doesn't want anyone to get hurt so she was little bit nervous.) (Manik saw nandini standing there and asked her.)
M: Kya huya angel.. aise kyun khadi ho vahan? Yahan baitho hamaare paas..
M's Dad: Haan beta.. kya huya...
N: Vo.. (Seeing nandini getting nervous both immediately got up and manik came towards her and cupped her face and asked her.)
M: Kya huya angel.. all okay na.. (Nandini started speaking but Manik cut her in between.)
N: Mani vo nyonika aunty ne.. (Before nandini could complete, manik took her nervousness wrong and immediately spoke being angry.)
M: Kuch kaha unhone tumhe.. (Manik's dad called nyonika in anger.)
M's Dad: Nyonika.. (Nyonika came there and asked.)
NY: Ji...
M's Dad: Nyonika, ab kya kiya hai tumne.. (Nyonika spoke softly.)
NY: Maine kuch nhi kiya raj.. sach mein..
M: Toh angel jhooth bol rahi hai.. (Nandini tried to intervene but manik cut her in between.)
N: Mani.. pehle meri baat toh sunn lo..
M: Nhi angel.. you don't have to say anything..
N: Mani.. relax.. meri baat suno pehle.. (Manik sighed and spoke.)
M: Acha okay.. bolo..
N: Vo nyonika aunty ne pehli baar tumhare liye halwa banaya hai.. she want you to taste it once.. vo khud nhi aa rahi thi isliye main tumhe bulane aayi thi.. Vo mujhe samajh nhi aaya ki tum kaise react karoge.. toh I was nervous.. that's it.. (Listening this, manik became guilty. One side he was happy that his mother cooked something for him and other side guilty that he took her wrong.) (He spoke with guilt.)
M: I am.. I am sorry.. vo mujhe laga ki.. (Nyonika spoke with tears in her eyes.)
NY: It's okay beta.. maine itni galtiyan ki hain ki... I know you can't trust me that easily.. it's okay.. I am sorry.. fir se tumhara mood kharab karne ke liye.. tum enjoy karo.. main chalti hoon.. (Nandini stopped her and bring halwa and gave it to her asking her to feed manik.)
N: Nhi aunty rukiye ap.. Ye lijiye..
NY: Nhi beta..
N: Aunty please.. (Nyonika came towards manik and spoke looking downwards with tears in her eyes.)
NY: Ye.. vo maine tumhare liye halwa banaaya hai.. tumhe toh pata hai ki mujhe cooking bilkul nhi aati.. toh nandini ki help se.. usse saamne khada kar ke banaya hai.. Nandini jitna acha banati hai utna toh acha nhi hoga but still I tried.. Nandini ne sab dekha hai toh I hope acha bana hoga.. kha kar bata dena ek baar.. (Manik looked towards nandini.. she blinked her eyes.. manik took a deep breath and looked at his mother and spoke lovingly.)
M: Ab apne itne pyaar se banaya hi hai toh khud apne haath se khila bhi dijiye.. (Nyonika became shocked listening to this and immediately looked towards manik .)
NY: Main..? (Manik smiled slightly and spoke.)
M: Haan.. (Nyonika feeded manik with tears in her eyes.)
NY: Kaisa bana hai? (Manik also got tears in his eyes. He smiled slightly and spoke.)
M: Bhut acha bana hai.. bhut tasty hai mom.. (Nyonika's tears started flowing widely listening the word.. It's after ages manik has called her mom and it's for the first time that she realised the worth of that word.)
NY: Kya kaha ek baar fir kehna..
M: Bhut tasty bana hai mom.. (Nyonika hugged manik who hugged her back tightly and spoke.)
NY: I am sorry.. I am so sorry beta.. maine humesha tumhe hurt kiya.. I am sorry.. (Manik broke the hug and wiped her tears and spoke.)
M: It's okay.. ab jo huya sab bhul jaiye.. hum sab ek nayi shuruwaat karte hain..
NY: I know beta tumhe time lagega.. And I am ready to give you as much time as you want..
M: Thanku.. I'll try my best..
M's Dad: Chalo ab bhut huya ye rona.. ab cheer up.. Bhai.. mere bête ka birthday hai aj..
NY: Raj.. I am sorry.. maine apko bhi bhut hurt kiya hai..
M's Dad: It's okay nyonika.. galti hum dono ki thi.. I am sorry too..
M's Dad: Acha.. chalo ab ek family hug ho jaye.. (All three hugged each other and then raj took nandini also in the hug.)
M's Dad: Arey.. tum vahan kyun khadi thi.. ye family tumhare bina adhuri hai.. (They broke the hug when nyonika cupped nandini face and spoke.)
NY: Haan beta.. aj agar iss ghar mein khushiyan hain.. aj agar mera bête mere paas hai toh sirf tumhari wajah se.. Thanku so much..
N: Nhi aunty.. aisa kuch nhi hai..
M's Dad: Aise kaise nhi hai.. sab tumhari wajah se hi toh huya hai.. manik tumhe angel bulata hai na.. you are truly an angel in our lives.. thanku so much..

N: I don't need any thanku.. Bas ap sab khush raho.. that's enough for me... (All smiled listening to her.)
M's Dad: Acha chalo ab jakar rest karlo.. shaam ko party hai fir sab thak jaoge..
M: Party? Uski kya zarurat thi?
M's Dad: Arey.. zarurat kyun nhi thi tumhara birthday hai bhai.. Aur vaise bhi ye sab tumhari angel ne arrange kiya hai so tum kuch nhi keh sakte..
M: Angel..
N: Arey.. tumhara birthday hai so you should enjoy..
M: Par..
N: Par var kuch nhi.. Chalo ab sab chalkar thoda rest karlo.. Tum bhi abhi enjoy karke aaye ho friends ke saath toh thak gaye hoge.. toh thoda rest karo.. aur ap log bhi.. (All dispersed in their rooms.)
IN MANIK'S ROOM:
(Entering into the room manik spoke.)
M: Angel iss sab ki kya zarurat thi.. Tum kal se kuch na kuch kar rahi ho mere liye.. Kitna thak chuki ho tum.. ab bas karo baba..
N: But I want to do it na..
M: Par iss sab ki sach mein koi zarurat nhi thi.. meri family mere saath hai.. mere friends mere saath hain and specially tum mere saath ho.. that was everything for me.. I don't need anything else.. (Nandini made a cute pout which Manik can't resist ever and spoke.)
N: Mani... Pls na.. I want to do it.. pls.. (Manik smiled and spoke.)
M: Acha okay.. if you are happy in doing this then I am more than happy..
N: Yeahh.. Thanku.. Aur tumhe pata hai tumhare liye surprise bhi hai party mein.. (Manik took nandini in bridal style and laid her down in the bed and laid beside her taking her in his embrace and spoke.)
M: Acha chalo ab thodi der so jao aur rest karo.. I know tum party mein ek pal bhi tick kar nhi baithogi.. Kuch na kuch karti rahogi.. Now rest..
N: Par mani abhi kitni saari tyari karni hai..
M: Wait.. lo Maine kaka ko message kar ke keh diya hai.. vo sab dekh rahe hain as per your list... Ab chup chap thodi der rest karo varna main ye party cancel kar dunga.. U know nothing is more important to me than you.. So sleep now..
N: Acha okay..
N: Vaise tumne pucha nhi ki kya surprise hai?
M: Kya fayda puchne ka.. I know tum kuch bologi nhi.. Aur vaise bhi I know ki tumne surprise plan kiya hai toh best hi hoga..
N: Hmm... Voh toh hai.. (Both chuckled and took a small nap.)
(After an hour, both woke up and got up from the bed when nandini spoke excitedly showing him his party suit.)
N: Chalo it's time for one more surprise.. (Manik took that from her and spoke.)
M: Wow.. Angel, it's awesome.. I mean it will look best on me..
N: Hai na.. I knew it that you will like your suit for tonight..
M: Like nhi.. I loved it..
M: Vaise I also have something for you..
N: Me? Par birthday toh tumhara hai..
M: Arey.. Toh kya huya? Ye lo.. (He gave her a beautiful gown.)

M: Afternoon mein.. main jab hamare friends ke saath gaya tha na.. tab.. (Nandini asked being surprised.)

M: Haan aur main iske saath ye wale shoes pehnunga..
N: Arey par ye toh polish hi nhi hain..
M: Toh kya huya.. main hoon na.. wait.. (Manik took the shoes and started polishing them but in reality he was polishing his clothes more making nandini laugh to her fullest. Manik pouted seeing himself spoiling his clothes. Nandini somehow controlled her laugh and spoke.)
N: Mani.. jo karna na aata ho... vo karna nhi chahiye.. hehe.. dekho kya haal bana liya apna.. (Manik smiled lovingly and spoke.)
M: But it's worth it.. (Nandini asked being confused.)
N: Huh?
M: Haan.. Agar mere aise karne se mujhe tumhari hassi sunne ko mile toh it's all worth it..
N: Tum bhi na.. Acha lao chodo.. mujhe do.. main karti hoon.. (Manik immediately took his shoes from nandini's hands and spoke.)
M: Aye.. ye kya kar rahi ho tum.. chodo mere shoes.. (He took his shoes away from Nandini and put them aside.)
N: Arey kya huya?
M: Angel.. tum mere shoes ko haath nhi laga sakti.. Aur unhe polish karne ka toh sawaal hi paida nhi hota..
N: Par kyun?
M: What kyun? You are my princess and princess only orders..
N: Arey par..
M: No par var.. main kisi servant ko bol deta hoon.. vo kar denge.. (Manik called on intercom and asked for some servant. Kaka came in no time.)
M: Arey kaka ap?
K: Haan.. vo apne bulaya tha na baba..
M: Kaka.. vo kisi servant ko bhej diiye.. mujhe mere shoes polish karwane the..
K: Laiye main kar deta hoon..
M: Arey nhi nhi kaka.. kya kar rahe ho ap.. Ap bade ho.. ap mere shoes ko kaise haath laga sakte ho.. Ap kisi aur ko bhej dijiye.. vo kar denge..
K: Arey par?
M: Pls kaka..
K: Acha.. (Kaka sent some young servant who polished manik's shoes.)
S: Ye lijiye baba.. apke shoes..
M: Thanku.. (Then servant went downstairs.)
N: Chalo ab tum yahan ready ho jao.. main dusre room mein jakar ready ho jati hoon..
M: Arey dusre room mein kyun.. tum yahin ready ho jao..
N: Par? (Nandini was hesitant and manik realised that and spoke further.)
M: Arey tum yahan room mein ready ho jao.. main washroom mein change kar leta hoon..
N: Arey itni pareshani kyun le rahe ho.. Tum aaraam se room mein ready ho jao main dusre room mein ready ho jayungi..
M: Angel.. iss mein pareshaani kaisi.. Tum aaraam se yahan ready ho jao.. main washroom mein jata hoon.. vaise bhi I have to take bath toh mujhe time lagega..
N: Acha okay..
M: Jab tum ready ho jao.. mujhe bata dena.. main uske baad bahar aa jayunga..
N: Okay..
N: Mani.. I am ready.. tum bahar aa sakte ho..

N: Okay... (Manik came out and nandini saw him and spoke teasing him.)
N: Wow mani.. u look so handsome.. aj toh party mein sab ladkiyan tum par fida hone wali hain.. (Manik spoke like a total majnu..)
M: Arey kisi aur se kya lena hai hamein.. hamein toh bas ap chahiye.. (Nandini blushed and spoke.)
N: Mani.. tum bhi na.. (Manik spoke seriously.)
M: Angel.. main soch raha tha hamein ye party cancel kar deni chahiye.. (Nandini became shocked listening to it.)
N: What? Par kyun?
M: Arey.. look yourself.. you are looking stunning.. Tum itni beautiful lag rahi ho ki I am sure ki aj boys in the party will ogle at you and you know that I am very possessive for you. Toh agar party mein meri kisi se ladai ho gayi toh mujhe baad mein bolna mat.. I am warning you before hand only.. Because I will not spare them... (Nandin chuckled and spoke lovingly.)
N: Hehe.. First of all thanku for the compliment.. And I know you will be there to protect me and I also know ki maine itni mehnat ki hai for this party.. isse tum kabhi spoil nhi hone doge.. (Manik smiled and spoke.)

M: Wait.. (He took some kohl from nandini's eyes and put tika behind her ear.)
M: Ab thk hai.. ab tumhe kisi ki bhi nazar nhi lagegi... (Nandini asked being surprised.)

M: Pehle nhi manta tha.. par ab manta hoon.. because main tumhe lekar koi risk nhi le sakta.. (Nandini smiled listening to him.)
N: Chalein ab?
M: Yes mam.. (They both descended downstairs.)

(Manik was totally surprised seeing all the decorations.)
