Kurapika sat in his bed, knees to his chest. His face was buried in his knees out of embarrassment. No one could see him but it didn't matter. What if Leorio walked in? It would be better to hide his face anyway.

Kurapika sniffed as he continued to cry. He was a mess. And over some boy. Was it even worth it? Yes. Yes, it was. Kurapika loved that boy but he didn't love him back. At least, not as much as Kurapika did. He sobbed louder.

Why had he even tried love? He had so much to do. Like get revenge or take care of Gon and Killua. Find the rest of the Scarlet Eyes? Who was he kidding? That would be impossible to complete. He would end up joining his can instead.

More tears streamed down Kurapika's face. Stupid. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

He lifted his head, only for a moment to wipe his tears. It was the wrong moment. Leorio walked in, a look of concern on his face. "Kurapika," he said. "What's wrong?"

Kurapika quickly finished wiping his tears. "Nothing," he choked. "Nothings wrong."

"It doesn't look like that," Leorio sat next to him. "Tell me the truth, I'm your friend."

Kurapika gave Leorio a small smile. "My girlfriend broke-up, with me," he lied. Well was it a lie? Kind of. Kind of not. He was telling the truth just reversing gender.

Leorio sighed and fell back on the bed. He took a ball from the dresser and tossed it in the air. As smoothly as he threw it, he caught it and threw it again. "Don't feel too bad," he said. "Girls are shit anyway. Most of them just want sex.

"Did she give you a reason?"

Kurapika gulped. "She just said I wasn't her type," he replied. "'Too girly-looking.'"

Leorio nodded. "Stupid," he said. "You have a great personality. I think that matters. And looking like a girl means nothing. As long as she knew you were a male."

Kurapika sighed. "Leorio," he said. "I-it wasn't my girlfriend. It was my...boyfriend."

Leorio sat up and looked at Kurapika. "Oh," he said. "Lemme see a picture."

Kurapika smiled at Leorio's acceptance. He pulled out his phone and scrolled through his camera roll. "Here," he said showing the picture.

Leorio sucked in his breath. "He's hot," was his reply. "But looks like a douche. Complete asshole."

Kurapika was silent. "Leorio?" he said. "Do you understand what you just said?"

Leorio nodded. "Yes," he replied. "I said he was hot."

Kurapika smiled. "Exactly," he replied. "I thought you were straight."

Leorio paused. "Oh," he said. "Yeah. About that.." He mumbled something and Kurapika lifted a brow.

"Speak louder please," he replied. "I don't know what you said."

Leorio looked at Kurapika, his face red. "I guess I haven't come out to you yet, huh?"

Kurapika took a second to process what Leorio said before he gasped. "What," he exclaimed. "What is your sexuality? If you don't mind me asking."

Leorio chuckled. "I think I'm bi," he said. "Wow. That felt good to say. I feel like a weight has been lifted off my chest. I've been trying to keep it a secret."

Leorio laughed and made Kurapika smile. "How'd you figure it out?"  he asked.

Leorio averted his eyes. "I'd prefer not to say," he replied.

Kurapika giggled. "That's fine," he said. "Well, I suppose I should get some food."

Kurapika stood. As he was walking to the door he leaned down and kissed Leorio's forehead. "Thank you, Leorio," he said. "I feel much better now."

He left the room, leaving Leorio on the bed. His face was red. He would never forget that.
